I deal with a LOT of online companies. Mostly outdoor type places, but tons of dept stores, etc. and never had a problem, for 10 years, simply clicking on "unsubscribe" and indeed, my wishes were honored.
Over the past year, there are at least THREE vaping vendors that I can't seem to get to stop sending me things, even though I have "unsubscribed" multiple times. And it would be more than three, under any other circumstances, because to be honest, I subsribed to VERY FEW in the first place.
This week, I have had to write to 2 of them, personally, and also call one, to ask why my requests to unsubscribe are not being honored. (with 2 of them, this has been going on for a year!)
Really, this amazes me.
Next step is to just report them, like I would the phone calls I have had to report that keep calling me despite being on do not call list (and the ones I report are the ones that won't even give you an chance to SAY "put me on your do not call list".
Yes, I can just block them. But I think that since they are essentially "spamming me" now, against my wishes, that I should be reporting to my email host companies, etc. and I guess I will.
