Alright so a few of you may know how much trouble I had with my protank 2. The thing was terrible. I couldnt even get it to puff. Well after regaining my ability to deal with stress, i gave it another shot today. Went down to a new shop that carried genuine products, (still not sure whether or not its not genuine, just wanted to be sure) and grabbed some REAL kanger 2.5 ohm addys'. Made sure the tank was put together correctly, twisted it on till i felt just the smallest pressure, then twisted the beauty ring up to secure it to the battery. This + the new addys have solved 2 of the problems I was having. I think the way I screwed the beauty ring on helped with the air flow with the ego twist. Also instead of using smok addys that the shop told me would work with the protank (LIES I TELL YOU). I put in an official kanger atty, now heres where the magic happened. Instead of gurgling and leaking, the larger gasket that is on the kanger attys fits just like its supposed too!. No gurgling, just solid draws. Primed it and gave it a crackle, BEAUTIFULL! Loved the taste of the airheads flavor, remarkable change in taste. I walked out of the store with a big grin on my face. Now for the follow up. I've found the Protank 2 is not for you if you dont like to tinker "aka me". Even with a near perfect setup it is almost impossible to not get the burnt taste every 10-15 draws, I just cant tell you whats doing it. I've tried tons of atty's no way they are ALL faulty. So all in all, I got a tank that I can leave at home, and use whenever I feel like I need to feel that extra warmth of a hit i get on it. Not gunna be one that i take with me daily and have to screw with all day long. But i agree with some posters, it is usefull, just not what im looking for in a tank.
On the other hand!, I have a couple smoktech type "eVod" looking tanks that the kanger attys fit in, dont even get me started on these!, I crank it up to 4v, 2.5 ohm attys. It can WHATEVER juices i throw at it, chain vaping, just anything. I think im in love. Check it out.
