I know I keep raging about how I over paied for my mall bought pv (Smoke-for-life) and how the cartridge doesn't work either. I found out how to make juice and started dripping, but the nicotine hasn't come in the mail yet, so my juice kept my by.

Today, I discover that a little deli right up the road from me has "Nuvo" pvs which cauht my interest. To get right down to the jist of things, Nuvo was $20 for a batt, atty, usb charger, and 2 carts (Which actually work btw!)

I'm very happy I gave them a shot, but bear in mind, its still day 1, so we'll see what happens down the road. I'm considering spending another $20 for a second everything.

I'll post updates as I go along and feel free to state your opinions by all means

Twenty dollars is a good price for a battery, atty, charger and 2 carts. I started out with a mall pv as well. It worked for a solid week before I had problems. I was off of the anologs the second day during that week. I don't regret my purchase because it proved to me that I really can quit smoking and that makes it worth what I paid for it. For now I'm just trying to keep this one going until I can get a better model. Don't give up.

Your $20 unit might be a disposable bu get as much use out of it as you can! Re Vaporking - do you mean "Vapor King" sold by Vapor4Life.com? That's a KR808D-1 dedicated 2-piece unit (battery and cartomizer) and it's a fine shop - a rebrander with lots of cool colors, barely higher prices than stock KR8 elsewhere and a lot of prefilled carto flavors.

There is also a shop called Vapor Kings and that is different.

Yes I meant Vapor King from Vapor4life. I did also hear of that other "Vapor King". Well today is starting day 2 with this Nuvocig. I let you guys know how it behaved during the work day =)

Yea, dumb mall cons! I really have no desire to go back to analogs thats why I spent the extra 20 for another unit, but I know I really should get a highly recommended model. In due time (like when I get paid lol). The way I figured it, i'll use the expensive one to drip into (Warranty) and the cheapy for the carts (Since I have no nicotine yet in which to make juice with). I'm no quitter, well.....Go go ECF!

Speaking of mall kiosk vendors, does anyone ever get tempted to screw with them?

"You know you're selling overpriced crap, right?"

"Did you know I can go online to at least 3 dozen different vendors and buy better stuff than what you're selling for much cheaper?"

Not that I would do this. If it was the owner/operator who knew he/she was ripping off people, sure, but ya don't know if it's just an employee who just needed a job.

The thing about the mall vendors (or the models sold at 7-11, etc.), is that...it certainly would be convenient to be able to buy juice/cartos/accessories from a local place. I'm definitely not defending the prices you typically see, but I'm just saying. I wonder why there has been so little brick and mortar penetration so far.

My guess is that anyone considering opening a "brick and mortar" shop is probably a bit apprehensive whilst awaiting whatever happens with the FDA. Would be a shame (and very costly) to open a shop, only to have the FDA put a sudden ban on all e-cig imports. Considering just about all e-cig parts are made in China (as far as I understand it), and just rebranded for US sales, that would kill a business real quick.

(sorry for the off-topic post)

Hey again. Well from today, the nuvocig lasted pretty much my whole time on the road for work (about 6 hours), before I got back to the shop where I threw it on the charger for a few, while I ate lunch. The cart did die though, so I had to replace it. I guess I can say 1 cart lasts a day from what I see. I'll update on that as I go along.

Good new is, liquid nicotine and flavors have been shipped! I already have the VG so I'm pretty excited about that. =)

I bought myself and hubby our pv's from a mall vendor - they were around the same price as what can be purchased online from their online shop. I do believe that the entire brand ie re-branded Jonty is over priced BUT they are the only ones doing any advertising and I have the convenience of just being able to pop in and get supplies - they also offer a warrantee that buying from another online place that I have been referred to does not seem to (besides the hassle of getting the supplies and WAIT). They have a number of outlets so for the convenience I was happy to pay a slightly higher price :)

Quite frankly I am just over the damn moon hubby and I have started Vaping and getting off analogues - not sure you can really put a price on that...
