Hi, I am new to the forum. I wish I had found this site before I bought my e-cig. I was at the mall where they had a demo of Smoking Everywhere...has anyone tried these? Some of the cartridges leak...the jucie gets on the end and burns my lips a lille bit...I am afraid I will inhale the liquid. I went back and was told I was not inhaling right (smoker for 20 years.. how could that be?) I am still having problems..about 50% of the cartridges do this. Help!!!!

You can find much info on SE in this forum...use the search function.

Actually, vaping is different from smoking. Most people suggest taking a slow draw...you'll catch on quick enough.

As far as the leaking cartridges, I don't know what to tell you. I'm sure someone else will have some tips. We all experience that some and even though the liq can cause tingling, it never really bothers me much. Unless you're using a very high nic level, I don't think you're in danger...and I doubt SE has too high a nic content.

Best wishes on your journey.

    Somewhere between here and there
They must have some kind of warranty. I would just return it and buy something else. Alot of people here start with a joye510. I think you can get a starter kit for as cheap as $35. I have read many bad posts about the ones like you bought. I would make them give a full refund. You could order a kit online and have it to your house in 2-3 days if you order from a good US supplier.

I fell into the same scam you did. Sadly, you really just paid way to much for an inferior product. I had mine for three days then, after doing my research, I ordered a joye 510. I'm much happier with it and I guess I just keep my Smoking Everywhere e-cig around as a last resort if something catastrophic ever happens to occur with my 510 and I don't have extra parts at the time. (God forbid). =)

I believe SE has a no return policy for "used" items.

It's a cheap, mass-produced, overpriced and deceptively marketed e-cig. However, some people are able to use them well enough. Others look at it as a lesson learned (at least it got you here) and move on to a better product. Fortunately, many of the better products can be had for less than your SE.

A good, simple, affordable, reliable, basic starter PV that has kind of a cigarette feel would be the Joye510. Read up on it around the forums - most feedback is positive. If you don't care about it "feeling" like an analog, look into some of the others. There are a whole lot of options out there. Any questions, just ask - there are plenty of helpful members willing to give their accounts of different models, juices, tips, etc!

    Welcome to ECF!

I never had one from SE, but I can tell you that until you learn the draw (which is different for every model), you aren't going to be happy with anything.

It *is* different than drawing on and analog. I smoked for over 40 years (which made me an expert:D) and ended up with "one of everything" before I found out that ya just can't draw on 'em like ya drew on yer Marlboros.

If I were you, before I ordered something else, I would go back to the mall and get one of the folks there to give you some one-on-one training. That would be a lot easier than trying to figure it out from reading posts, even though the people here are very helpful., Sometimes you get further faster with a real live human being;).

After you get the SE one you already have down pat, then investigate other models.

The reason you are getting juice in the mouth is most likely because you have automatic batteries and are struggling to get them to work consistently for you.

I would suggest taking longer, slower draws. But you would probably also benefit greatly from practicing in front of a mirror a little bit so you can figure out exactly what it takes to get the battery activated, and keep it activated for as long as you are taking a drag.

If you are inhaling, but the battery is not activated, you'll eat liquid.

    jlf2499;
Your SE Gold is just an RN4081 with SE's name branded on it. There are satisfied users of this model. 4081 parts are inexpensive.
It's all a matter of technique in the beginning. E-cig's are no where
near smoking a regular cigarette. The style is completely different,
and each model has it's own technique.

No matter what model you decide on, you'll have to learn to use it.
The bashers will tell you that "This is better than that" - "This
has more problems than that" - "Buy this" & "Buy that". Listen or
don't. It's your choice, but no matter what you have, you'll have,
to learn technique. Once you master how to drag, how much juice
to add, and how your unit works, you're on your way.

Learning is the key, and it takes some time. Many of us here will be
happy to help in the learning process. Just keep in mind that if you
spend $10.00 or $1,000.00, the device will give you trouble until you
    learn to use it.

A Ferrari is no better than a Yugo if you don't know how to drive.

Once your technique is mastered, you'll be able to make a decision on
which e-cig or mod model would suit your needs best. Just going out
and buying a new one before you've mastered the ones you have can get
very expensive, and you won't be satisfied with any of them.

    Cheers;
    jd

jlf, you are not the problem but the model you have is. There are very good models available where you do not need to lean some complicated method of use in order to vape. Kristin gave you good advice on using the 510. Most users of the 510 love it whereas there are tons of posts on how poor the RN4081 (SE Gold) is. Along with the 510 there are a number of other good, simple models that you can pick right up and vape without the problems you are now experiencing and with out being made to feel that you are doing anything wrong. Good Luck
