fasttech...doesn't sell Vamos as far as I know. Did you mean vaporbreak? Their vamo kit is $33.49...the body by itself is only $26.99. I wouldn't buy a Vamo kit in any case...for the most part, they come with really bad batteries or chargers (sometimes dangerous batteries). You are much better picking up the body from vaporbreak for 27 bucks or from exhalevapors for 35, then getting 2 Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries from fasttech for under 10 bucks and a Nitecore I2 for 14 bucks from the same place. For about 51 dollars you have a MUCH better kit than any of the pre-assembled ones are going to get you.

Fasttech just started carrying the vamo. $52.08 Vamos-Vivi Rechargeable 900mAh Electronic Cigarette Health Keeping Set - 2*18350 / stainless steel / US plug at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping With the cpaste13spring discount code it brings it down to $49.48. Still would upgrade the battery and charger though. But you are right, I did the vaporbreak vamo with the batteries and charger you mentioned from fasttech instead of the kit.

Well look at that, they do. I still stand by my previous statement tho, for roughly the same price, you could get 2 18650 pannies (the batteries in that pack on fasttech are labeled ICR, not IMR...which is slightly scary) and a charger that doesn't look like it's going to murder my dog if I don't seat the battery in it correctly.

Sure, it comes in a fancy box with some nova knock offs, but chances are if you are buying a Vamo you probably already have what you are going to put on top, and who really cares about a box. That money can go towards getting 2 batteries that aren't going to explode on you and a charger that can charge them in less than a decade.

You did right going the vaporbreak vamo and fasttech battery route. I find that a lot of kits tend to me more of a "convenience" package then a "deal" package.

For anyone else:
2 x Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh 18650 Batteries for $9.53 with 'cpaste13spring' discount code. These are "safe" chemistry, IMR, High Drain batteries. Comes with a case. Probably the most recommended batteries for the Vamo next to the AW brand.
Nitecore I2 Charger for $14.06 with 'cpaste13spring' discount code. This is one of the most, if not THE most, recommended Lithium chargers.
Vamo v2 for $26.99. Version 2 of the Chrome Vamo. MUST be logged in to the site to see the low price.

Fastech also has great deals on 18350 batteries if you want to use the Vamo in shorty mode or double stack batteries (not recommended unless you understand all the safety concerns). The even have the 4 slot Nitecore charger if you want to have even more batteries charging at once.

How many days is delivery to the US from FastTech?

Hey, I couldn't figure out how to reply to you message elsewhere (maybe I 'm too new for certain permissions).

What part of Atlanta area? I don't know the names of the stores but I know there are ecig specific dealers in Woodstock and Cartersville if you are to the NW. There is a tobacco store in Lilburn on the corner of US 29 and Arcado who told me within 2 weeks they will have a variety of ecig gear. Right now they only have eliquids and some of the stuff you can find in many gas stations. Another store in Loganville said they are about 2 months from stocking more stuff and currently has same type inventory as the Lilburn one. Covington has a place called something like Scottish Tobacco which has a few cigarette flavors and strawberry and the kit I mentioned in the other thread.

I think somewhere on this forum was a mentioning of the NW area stores, so search the forum.

I drive around ATL a lot for my job and sometimes have to kill some time here or there. If you let me know an area I can keep an eye out. Pretty much the only areas I don't see at all anymore are directly west and northwest.

I received my package from FastTech in 7 days. I hope the OP has ordered something by now, but with FastTech's price on the SS Vamo V2 by itself, excellent battery prices, Nitecore I4 or I2 chargers, it's a really tough deal to beat. I would NOT buy the Vamo kit from FastTech. The batteries and charger in the kit are poopoo, the clearos I cannot address. I like my mechs and my Vamo equally but for different reasons. I'm not going to take the semi-fragile Vamo out of the house, that's why I have held on to my Ego and sturdy mechs.

If you don't already have a dependable multimeter, the ohms checker with a Vamo for under $30 will pay for itself when it comes time to rebuild a coil. You might not own an RBA or RDA yet, but it sure is worth trying.

I have a semi-noob question that might help the OP, but it's really just for me. I have a Nitecore I2, which says it's maximum charging current is 0.5 amps (which is lower than the I4). It should be safe to charge EH 800mah IMR 18350 batteries, right? Assuming it's safe, will it have any effect on the lifetime of the battery?

Hey everyone new here. Been using a ego twist for around 6 months and looking to upgrade now. I've been bouncing around between a higher end VV or mech mod. I don't have tons of money to spend but the idea of mech mod looks kinda fun. I don't have any experience though with wicks or dripping. I did see the k100 and read some reviews about it being a beginner mod. Any advice is welcome

Though the OP is MIA since 1st posting, hope s/he has already fetched something, I'd yet confirm that his/her choice of the Kamry K100 was not bad.

I'm loving my blue...

I went from an ego twist to an evic and I do think the evic hits a bit better. Still like the twist a lot though, I would prefer carrying that around rather than the evic. If you're thinking to get a mechanical mod, I've been told The Natural is a good one to start with. I also just laid eyes on the K101 and it looks bad ....
