I've had my vv 3.0 for the past 6 months. It's what allowed me to quit smoking analogs and I love it dearly! I actually bought a second one so I could always have a full charge whenever I need it. I leave one on the charger at all times (it does shut itself off when fully charged so no harm there).

Now that I've recently learned and started making my own coils. I'm debating on whether I should get a more advanced battery. I like how my vv 3 has an ohm checker, pass thro system, and allows me to change from watts or volts.

i see there's a vv 4.0 out now that allows for up to 15 watts (as opposed to the vv 3.0 max watts of 11). Especially since I've been buying stock heads of 2.5ohms and now building coils to match the 2.5 - wouldn't I benefit from allowing more power?

if more power could be beneficial would the 15 watts be sufficient or just tease me and I should be looking for 20+?

any suggestions on upgrades would be greatly appreciated, doesn't have to stay in the innokin family. I'm looking for anything to get more benefits!

IMHO, you never know where your hobbies will take you. If you're the type that really gets into things, then I would get a high wattage box mod for rebuilding. I got a Segelei 100W so that I could fire my Atlantis. That thing will fire just about anything I care to do with it now. I will start my rebuilding journey soon and I feel I will not end up needing more or better gear once I get fully into it. I can even turn down the heat and fire my Nautilus or K1 heads with ease. Side benefit is, if I just use it to run stuff a regular ego battery will fire, I can get days of battery life out of two 18650's.

Since you like a slimmer form factor, why not buy the VV4 that gives you 20 W? I've also learned to rebuild coils, but only for the ProTanks and Davides. Like a cooler vape so don't want high heat; and, therefore, don't need a lot of power. Maybe try out a Nautilus Mini that you can push the wattage up on to first see if you like higher wattage?

As a surprise, hubby gifted me with an iStick. Never mind that I already had a mini ProVari, MVP's and a Vapor Shark. Like tubes and like boxes provided they are small enough to feel comfortable using, and I don't have to do something awkward with a finger or two. The iStick is the smallest of my mods, lasts a long time (chain vaper), and is a cute little bugger not much wider than your VV 3.0, PLUS gives you 20 watts.

Hope this gives you an idea or two. It is a journey of discovery and no two people are alike. Meanwhile, sounds like you've been very happy and successful with your present setup. My first was the MVP v1, still got it, still use it!
