After vaping with a 510 for a little over 2 months I finally upgraded to an eGo which came today (lightning fast shipping from Good Prophets!). Gotta say - I dig the increased vapor and am looking forward to having a longer battery life (spent 7 hours driving from Huntsville to Charlotte yesterday and changed batteries about a half dozen times on my 510).

So I'm digging it. I think it may still be a while before I think about taking this out to the local watering hole as opposed to the more cig-looking 510, but should make vaping during the day at work a much better experience. I think that the $30 investment for the battery, cone and USB charger will be well worth it.

My only complaint is that the USB charger (which has a little insert warning not to use with regular 510 batteries) looks EXACTLY like the regular 510 USB charger. I marked it with a silver sharpie to keep them straight, but it would be nice if there was a stylistic difference (I know - someone has to find something to complain about :p )

If the mark gets worn off my ego charger has s sticker that says it 420 mA output. Not sure it yours has that or not. The smallest ego battery is 650 mAh so just make sure the charger you plug the battery into is lower mA than the battery. Or Just renew your make before it gets too worn.:2c:

Ah-ha! I see that 420mA on the back of the eGo charger.

And Shanagan - I ordered this via regular mail on Thursday and it was here today, so I'm pretty impressed.

Yes to the above,,,there is no way you could charge a "normal" Ego/Tornado/Riva with a
510 charger.....Have both,,,,and they are not at all alike...Wondering what kind of Ego
you actually received...But, to be honest...as long as you are happy and vaping, it is
completely up to you......Enjoy the Adventure....
P.S. I have also not heard of any converters for the Ego to 510 chargers,,,,yet....LOL...

They are different chargers (based on the mA output on the back of the chargers) but they are both USB chargers and physically look the same.

Given this came from Good Prophets, I am assuming that this is a proper eGo and not some weird knock-off.

I do know cignot sells an adapter which allows an ego to be charged with a regular 510 charger.

You can charge a eGo off a regular 510 charger it will just take quite a bit longer because they dont put out as many amps.
