upgraded to RSST from Aerotank

I just upgrade to a RSST from Aerotank on mvp2. local b&m did the coil for me at 1.5ohm and with the max 5v on mvp2, this thing KICKS .... they even drilled a bigger hole in the rsst. This is my first rba. it doesnt leak at ALL unless i put the mvp sideways.

i have to say, i will never go back to a tank again. i know its not a real mod + RBA, but this RSST blows 2x the vape that aerotank did with 100000% easier air intake than aerotank with max airflow.

I am looking for advice, how often should i change wicks, and how long will the coils last?

I have an RSST and luv it.... What wick do you have in it? I use silica from the tank to a bed of cotton on the deck with a 2.5 ohm nano coil made with 30ga. I change mine ( wick) once I start getting a drop off in flavor ( 3 days) and do a dry burn/brushing of the coil. Ive had the same coil for about a week now and it looks as if it will last a couple more weeks. Mine only leaked once, had the hole facing down and the fill plug was missing ( forgot to put it in).

i have had a rsst for a month now and havent built it yet...i have a cable and eko wool setup plan to try in it i think this weekend i will build it.. oh and the air hole is really small have to hog it out

be careful on drilling it dont go too big once its drilled there is no going back

I totally love my RSST, and plan to get the new one with the Pyrex tank soon. I build mine with 400 mesh wick and 26 kanthal which I'm very happy with. You made a very good choice, it's cheap, well designed, has nice features, and it's a snap to build. Ya done good kid

I like my rsst with 28 guage micro coil on my mech and cotton. Here is a vid. I change my wick when I loose flavor in a couple days. Cotton is cheap.
