Just wondering if anyone has attempted this yet? Anything to watch out for? Will I need to upgrade the wires/switch?

Nope, you shouldn't need to upgrade the wires or the switch.
I didn't think so but wanted to ask in case someone may have been in this position before. I will make sure to take pictures and make a thread when it's complete. Thanks!
