Hi Guys,

Ive been vaping for a couple of weeks now and enjoying it alot.
Gone from 15 a day to about 2 a day now.

I want to upgrade to something a bit more advanced than my standard Ego-C with CE4 atomiser.

I am thinking about going for a Vamo V5 or a Tesla as i cant afford the high price of a ProVari as much as i would love one!!

Im looking for a bit of advice on either of them or some further suggestions. Also, what would be the best atomiser to go with them.
I keep seeing people say good things about the Kanger tanks but other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks :D

Hmmm.

Interesting question.

If I could magically send you a "should be good" kit, I would go for

1) a SID (much prefer it to Vamo) and batteries/charger PLUS
2) an iClear 30S

My feeling after over a year with Kanger Protanks (I even had one on order BEFORE it was on sale.... FGS) is that unless you want to rebuild the heads, you may as well go Innokin.

Tesla is excellent....but it's £62.

SID is £36

Thanks for the replies guys.

The only thing thats put me off other APV's other than the Tesla is the fact that they have the center pin issue which has destroyed 2 of my EGO-C batteries so far.

The Tesla has a spring loaded center pin which kind of appeals more.

I think i might just be scared of spending 30/40/50 quid and then it break on me because of a silly issue like that in a couple of weeks

What can I say. I have a 2 year old Lavatube and all the rest. The only one that is dead is my EVIC. (not pin problems)

Have you discovered a running issue with 510 pins? other than your eGo-Cs?

Maybe the Tesla would be wise - perhaps you use a lot more 510 atomizers than me and I've just been lucky.

?? not sure.. :)

Hi mate,
I think it might be just because im inexperienced with them.
I used the "pry" method with the battery the other day and i had to do it that much it eventually just popped out lol.

I think the Tesla has a bit more of a "cool" looking factor aswell :p

You also mentioned the iClear30s.
Are there any others that you recommend, just so i can have a browse and see which one i fancy?

I agree... looks-wise the Tesla is the business. The SID is very boring. Vamo is in between.

I like the 30S. I do not like the original "30". I never bought the "B" but there are too many reports of gurgles and leaks for me.
I got an iClear30S in between Xmas and New Year. It's still going strong on the atomizer head.

If you look on here, you might see others that are a nice size for an 18650 battery mod.

Is that the main place you get things from? Looking for a reliable site as obviously there are millions of them!

Also, any idea where the best place is to get a Tesla from? Preferably a Tesla kit with the battery and charger to get me started before i get my own batteries etc

Yes, Myepack have been around a much shorter time than my Vaping (I was skeptical). They are one of the best/fastest out there. They are also very price conscious, unlike some "popular" vendors. Vape escape and ukecigcabin are also good.

I would ask on AAEC UK about specific UK vendors. eciglondon seem to do a Tesla "kit".... I think they are "approved" vendors on AAEC.

I'm fairly new to vaping as well, I have a protank 3 and have been using it with the iclear30 that came with my SVD, and have had no issues with either tank. I'm waiting on a couple more tanks to come in the mail.

My biggest issue with vaping thus far, is I never seem to have enough money to buy all the things that I want.

Arghh, ive been reading and looking at these a bit too much.

Now im stuck between:
SID
SVD
Tesla
Vamo V5

That's about where I was two weeks ago. So much information to take in and decide on. I just chose what looked the best to me, since essentially they are the same internally.

The only thing about the protank 3, it's a bit airy on the draw. I've ordered a couple aerobases to help with that. I was looking at just buying an aerotank, but my better half found out how much I've already spent on gaping gear and asked me to set a limit, which I blew through on my initial setup.
