Hey all,
I've been more or less satisfied with my Halo G6, but I'm looking to move on to a bigger mod...I'm not sure if it's the mini tanks or the batteries but the vape isn't always consistent and the 808d batteries just don't last long enough for my liking.
I've done some research and I've narrowed it down to the smoketech SID, Vamo V5 or Innokin itaste VV v3 or MPV v2.
I'm trying to keep the cost below $100 cdn but I'm open to other suggestions.

What clearomizers/tanks do you guys recommend? The protank, x8 and vivi nova seem to be pretty popular amongst the community.
I'm not looking to rebuild my own wicks, etc just yet. I'd like a solution that will last quite a while b4 I'd need to replace the coils

Cheers!

P.S. Where do you guys buy your batteries from? I'd need to pickup a few batteries and charger as well.

Hey bud,

I can only vouch for the iTaste VV 3.0 on this list. I own 2 of them. I have not tried the SID, Vamo or MVP..

There is quite a difference here though. The iTaste VV you have a built in battery, whereas the Vamo is a mech mod and requires a seperate battery and charger. There is obviously a lot more maintaince and battery safety that goes along with that. If your looking for a simple vaping experience, the iTaste VV might be what you are looking for. It produces tons of vapor with the right tank.

You might want to stick with the ProTank + EVOD combination. They use the same heads/coils and are easily replaceable. You can buy 5 packs for them for real cheap. If your not interested in the EVOD, then stick with just a ProTank.

The ProTank and EVOD are very different. I also own both and prefer the EVOD for it's tighter draw. I find my ProTank feels like sucking through a narrow straw. I don't have that issue with the EVOD.

Good luck with whatever you get!

I have 4 Mini Pro Tank II's so I guess you could say I like them. 2.5, 2.2, 1.8 and 1.5 ohm coils available for $15 or less for a 5 pack. You never have to worry about 'tank cracker' juice in the Pyrex tank. My tanks came with a 2.5 ohm coil and I prefer the 1.8 ohm coil (so far). My batteries are eGo 650 mah upgrades that I set on constant voltage . I prefer a compact unit.

If you find the draw too loose on the mini, you can plug an air hole on the gun metal colored ring that the coil screws into. Tape would be one way but I just put my finger over it if I want a heavier draw.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I really appreciate your opinions.

There are just so many similar mods available that it's kinda hard to choose. How long do the batteries last on the itaste vv v3? Does it get you through the day?

It gets me through the whole day.. the battery starts to turn yellow (indicating it's over half depleted) right before I goto bed. I haven't experienced vaping on it with a red battery (close to dying) yet. The 800mah battery is supposed to last 8 hours of vaping.

Keep in mind it has USB passthrough, some of the EGOs do not have that. You can vape it while it's charging through a USB port.

I ended up going with the MVP v2 cause it was just too cheap to pass up. I got it off 101vape.com for $39.99 and it comes with an iclear 30. I'm just wondering how long I'd use it before upgrading again lol

If you find a juice you like I'd imagine you will be happy for a while. That sounds like one hell of a deal.
