i'v been vaping on the Joyetech ego aio and im loving the experience. almost 3 weeks now with ZERO cigarettes :D
I decided to upgrade! getting a tank and a mod that I need ur help with deciding which mod is good for a rookie like my self..

from doing my research, I've decided to get 2 tanks, wasn't sure if id like a mouth to lung or a direct lung vaping experience, so decided to try them both.
I'm leaning towards:
Joyetech Ultimo with ceramic coil headas,, and the Nautilus X.
Both have great reviews all over the forum and the tube.

But I really don't know which mod should I get.. im still not familiar with temp mode, volt mode, etc... but very interested to learn... should I get 1 mod to use for both tanks or get one for each tank? im in Hk, prices aren't hi at all here...

your help and feedback is very much appreciated.

Thanks yo'all.

Two mods are nice, mostly for backup if one has a problem. The Ultimo is new, so I would look at several reviews first before buying. The Nauti X has had very mixed reviews, with muted flavor. There is a new coil released for it which might be better than the original. There is a whole thread about it in the Clearomizer section of this forum. Good luck!

Hi! - new tech is sometimes not the most reliable.
if I could get a refund for all the new tech items I have bought and were not very good, I'd have at least $1000 in my hands.
..and Joyetech have a particularly patchy track record.
..not all reviews are trustworthy as well.

I'd get something proven then look to expand after that. :)

I use a Kayfun.

When i want direct lung experience i use tge Kayfun Monster Mini with the base.

When i want MTL put the Kayfun lite plus base under the tank.

Thus way u have tge best if both worlds just by switching bases.

I'd say need more info. Your AIO is more a MTL or tight DTL with subohm coils and for a mod do you want 1 (75w) 2 or 3 batteries (200-300w)? If you think you may want to chuck huge clouds later you'll need a need over 75w and if your going to run a 75w mod at 75w you'll probably wants more then one battery anyways. Most tanks have a MTL and DTL coil option, if you really liked the AIO maybe stick with Joyeteck BF coil tank.

The AIO prompted me to go back to a MOD set up. I had previously purchased a Sigelei Mini but could not get the right tank. Since I liked the AIO so well, the vape shop recommended the Cubis. I was very happy with the tank once I learned all of the tricks to keep it from spitting, flooding, or burning (I had those same problems with the AIO though just not to the same extent). This sounds like a lot to figure out but it really took just a couple reads on this forum. To be honest, I really only have those problems when I start a new coil. After that, it keeps running without issue for me.

Recently, I decided I would purchase a second MOD. All the Sigelei Mini models were sold out at the vendors that I trusted online. I ended up purchasing an eVic VTwo Mini with a Cubis Pro tank simply because I knew I liked the AIO and the Cubis tank that is on my Sigelei. I once again had issues getting the coil going in this tank but have not had a problem since. I LOVE this little set up and it is mow my go to. The temperature control was completely new to me but truly wish I had found that earlier. I prefer MTL and have no interest in DL.

Thanks everyone. I went with two options:
Kanger Cupti: great flavor & clouds. Absolutely no leaks at all, which is great with my constant mobility.
Nautilus X with Air50: loving everything about it, a bit low on the flavor side, but its a great MTL set. Also, no leakage at all.

With my 3 sets now: ego aio, cupti, nautilus x.. I think im set for my vaping experience untill i decide to move up to an advance set and learn how to build my own coils, which i really cant wait!

Thanks guys,, in a few days, ill be hitting my 30 days mark without a nasty cigarettes :)

Yeah your set now, Air50 will handle most coils and I could be wrong but the Cupti should have a RBA deck... pretty sure NeBox did. Called CLRBA.

Hi there,
Dependent on what an individual can afford I suggest 2 mods...1 as a back up never hurts if lost or broken. I suggest a mod today with temp. Control..SS/Ni/Ti/Power/Bypass. Purchasing a mod with an internal battery make sure you can plug it in to recharge while still utilizing it to vape..a pass thru. If purchasing a mod with interchangeable batteries..I suggest buying batteries from an established dependable dealer avoiding counterfeits. Dependent on your smoking style... flavor chasing is normally a tighter draw or mouth to lung for ex-smokers. Most ex- smokers will eventually open up to a straight lung draw later on. An atty that you can buy replaceable prebuilt coils is an answer for immediate cigarette cravings for new vapers ussually, but to match the best flavors to your specific taste coil builds is the best. No specific answer to the atty is wrong ...there is trial and error to match your liking. Read and research is the best answer. Good luck

Cheers Mark,, thanks for taking the time and replying... vape on!
