My budget vape. So Far
I went from Mini PT3 and EGO1100mah bat set-up to current set-up in November. Started vaping July 14. I was just at the point I wanted a little more. With the old setup I was happy for the first 10-30 pulls per charge. Basically when the bat was putting out 4 volts or more. I also knew I should be getting MORE flavor. So I decided to get an Orchid. But then I got to thinking I didn't really want to mess with dual coils, so I got a Kayfun and a mod. OH Boy, the Kayfun alone, with a 2 ohm coil, same ohm I tended to run on the PT3, on the EGO bat, blow me away. The Mod I got is an Brass Origin clone $20, 5-12 watt kick $10 Kayfun $15, nano kit $5, batteries 4 $20, charger $5, short top cap $5, ohm meter $5, 30awg $5, (round up) Total $85. Certainly could do more for less with some of the regulated mods, but I wanted simplicity. I wanted set it and forget it. I also wanted it to be durable. Can't get much more simple or durable than a threaded brass tube.

I have the Lemo drop and an ipv mini and I've been very satisfied with this new set up. My old set up was an mvp v2 and an evod. The evod tank started to crack and break, my mvp started taking a long time to charge and it was dying fast.

I have no problem spending a bit of time to make a coil if I need to, it just hasn't been an issue at all for me.

With this new set up and I'm getting much more flavor and vapor and a single lghe2 18650 battery will last me a day and a half usually. The ipv mini feels really good in the hands and it's not THAT big. Some people say they're ipv minis ohm reader is off but mine is spot on and I've not had any issues with it. Love this little mod.

If you get the lemo your going to have to learn how to build your own coils. My micro coil build is 26 gauge kanthal, I bought from temico industrial power, 12 wraps around a 3mm precision screw driver, came out to about 1.6-1.7 ohms. It can fire at 20 watts and it taste soo good and it's a warm vape with plenty of vapor. I'm more than happy with it. Probably going to take a few tries to get it just right but it is worth it. Also this rta will go through juice fast lol.

I don't see anything wrong with the istick though, they are pretty popular, small, affordable, I think the kanger subtank/mini would be a good choice Especially the subtank full size, or the mini, because it can use normal coil heads OR you can put the rebuidlable base in and turn it into an rta if you want to try to build your own coils.

I hope this helped with your choice!
