if money is not an issue provari is probably a good standard that will still work for you years down the road..... to use at home.... because of their expense, though, traveling with it may be more stressful (the thought of leaving it somewhere like a pair of sunglasses for example).... and for that reason you may not want to use it out as often

for the back-ups or if you want something a bit more inconspicuous or for travel... i would rely on an ego twist... those things are great i have a few and seriously... they taste like the provari... handle like a provari and are adjustable to give a harder hit etc.

just a thought

.....batteries aside, once I tried stainless steel wicks, I will never go back to silica. The head/tank/cartridge is a very important factor besides battery

In my opinion, the capability to adjust voltage or wattage is very imporatant. My VAMO V5 works great, but as LoriVanPelt says above, my Eco twists do too. When buying new tanks (or making replacement wicks) the ohm rating of the coil is going to vary. In order to find that vaping sweetspot, some kind of voltage/wattage adjustment is necessary in my opinion

I would suggest something different. Hold off on new mod purchase for now. Instead try out different tank systems. There are 3 main options.
Bottom coil - AeroTank or Nautilus
Top coil - iClear 30S
Cartomizer - IBTanked w/ either boge or ikenvape

These will vape very differently and worth trying them out. All three options will work just fine with current eGo.
Once you settle on the tank system, you can decide which mod will be best with it.

Holy crap! I forgot about tax returns!!!!! oooooooooooooooooooh SO MUCH VAPEMAIL INCOMING! Thanks for remind me op <3

Look into a provari, mvp, a reo maybe?, a VTR(thing is a true beast and will withstand anything you throw at it)

Looking for a new tank/clearo too maybe? how about a nice carto tank? IBtanked and the Jtank are both great choices! You can choose the ML capacity and go for big or small! Jtanks can hold up to 6mls! And carto tanks really bring a new boldness of flavor to the table with the only comparison I can make being close to an RDA. Ease of use seems something you are definitely intersted in and carto tanks are one of the easiest tanks you can ever get your hands on. The tank itself is just a glass or acrylic tank with o-ring end caps that your carto slides in to and uses a carto with a punched hole in it to allow juice to wick in. Some videos on youtube and maybe baditudes blog might be beneficial if you are curious (ill edit in with a post unless he posts before me)

I think everyone needs to decide on their own criteria when choosing the right device for them. I heard a lot of recommendations a few weeks ago when I went shopping for what was going to save me from smoking. Then I went and looked at a bunch of them and decided what suited me personally.

I looked at how it would fit in my pocket, car, office, and home.
I looked at battery life and convenience.
I looked at just how much it appealed from the cool factor.
I considered just how long I might use such a thing before I was free of smoking and did I want to continue past that day.

I do not believe in a "one size fits all" device.

So I started with an eGo and Protank mini.
I liked it and decided this vaping would work.

Then I went to the I-taste 134 and really liked playing with voltage.
I gave it to my nephew because it just struck me as better suited to a younger person than I and I really want him to quit smoking too.
Besides.. It made me look goofy.. or so I was told.

Then I went to the Vamo and I liked it just as much.
I mostly keep the Vamo on my desk.

Then I got the I-taste VTR and like how it fits in my hand and jeans.. I carry it around a lot at home.

Then I got the V2 cigalikes and used them in the car but the taste just wasn't there. I found that I like the quality of the Innokin line so I got this little vv v3.0 which looks like a Digital thermometer. It's pretty nice and very discreet when driving.. my car already attracts too much attention and I figured sucking on a flashlight looking device was unwise.

My thinking was that cost is irrelevant when you consider that in my lifetime, I've spent over 150k on 40 years of smoking. I don't really care about how long this stuff lasts or warranties.. these things are basically cheap alternatives to smoking and medical care at my age. I also get bored with toys easily and I'll probably try other new devices that strike me as cool.. I just discovered FastTech and their month long delivery from China routine.. more toys coming.. I'm not so old yet that I don't like cool.

Honestly folks.. get what appeals to you.. if it breaks.. get another.
The only opinion that should matter is your own.
