The vendor website clearly said they they try to ship items out within 1-3 business days, sometimes the same day if orders are placed before 3 pm PST. Excited about my birthday, I ordered with expedited shipping via UPS for 3 day delivery. UPS counts business days not weekends. As I stated in another previous post, my order qualified for free shipping but I wanted my package sooner and thought, "Ok, my birthday is on Monday, I'll pay for expedited shipping and get it by Wednesday." The vendor sent me an email saying that my package was shipped via UPS 3 day. But, Saturday, I noticed that my track a package meter wasn't moving. I didn't think nothing of it because I thought, my package must be held up at UPS and they put it on a plane and ship it by Wednesday. Nope, as I'm getting ready for bed, I decide to check it again today. The meter says that the package was just picked up from the vendor and my package will not be here until Thursday. Thursday, seriously? I paid $25 for expedited service only to receive my package slower than had I just left it at the free shipping rate? Now, $25 may not seem like a lot to some other people, but that's $25 that could have went in my gas tank or even in for 150ml of ejuice. I wouldn't be so upset if I didn't get the email from the vendor saying that my package had shipped on Friday. It's obvious that my package didn't ship and they just created a label and held it until today. Why tell your client/customer that their package has shipped when it didn't? I hope this vendor refunds me for the so called expedited shipment or I'll never order from them again. I have a business and what I say to my client is very important. I can't tell my client that I've done something and in reality I haven't. I could be disbarred for such carelessness. Aside from being disbarred, I can be sued. The failure to do what I say I've already done can also cost my client their home, car, business, wages or even their bank accounts. The worse that any business can do is tell a client/customer that they've done something and haven't exactly done what they say they done. Sorry, for my rant, I'm just upset right now on my birthday.
