I've heard a lot of folks like juul's too. Expensive imo. But whatever works. A lot of people evolve after they get used to the idea of vaping. I also got comments they wanted tobacco flavors. That would last a week.

Weird that egos are too big but she likes mechs?
Taste in appearance is so subjective, I think you need to let her pick something.
Maybe bring her to a shop, or to a page like this or like this and just ask her what she likes.
Those are just examples of pages with "kits" that might be good for starting vaping...

So here goes.
I want to get my mom off cigs
And after talking to her about how much healthier it is to vape. I finally convinced her to switch.
She's not exactly a heavy smoker, but she'll smoke about 15 cigs a day.
The thing is she doesn't like the look of the mods, I showed her some ego style ones and she was put off mainly because of their size (width to be precise)
Are there any ego style batteries that are slim? What type of tank should I get her?
She has a very specific taste. She asked me if there is something that looks vintage (she really liked mech mods but I'l never get her that LOL too advanced)
I'm rambling.
Anyway what I need is an ego style good battery that looks nice and classy and a small tank to fit it on, and a pack of good long lasting atomizers.
Sorry for the wall of text I just can't find anything so far.
Thanks

@Dimnzy - Another place online that has a variety of starter kits, including those that are a much smaller form factor, is RockyMountainVapor. They have them by JoyeTech, Kanger, etc. Maybe your Mom could peek at them online with you? RMV has a 30% off coupon code still in effect now. Code is: turkey. Also, S/H is Free with a $14 or more total purchase.

I agree with daviedog above, too. She'll need to have eliquid that she likes or vaping won't work no matter what set-up she has. Maybe take her to a couple shops so she can pick an eliquid or 2 she likes. Some don't allow test vaping them any more, but many have found a way around that FDA nonsense, too.

Hi, I've been trying to help my Dad quit. He is 70 plus and a 2 pack a day smoker. First I bought him a Provari Mini (no longer available :() fitted with a Nautilus X and then a Joytech Ego AIO which is working great due to the small size and weight and the convenience of usb charging, he loves it.

He likes the Provari but not the nautilus so I'll see if the Provari can work with a Cubis using the 1 ohm coils.

The main problem has been finding a liquid for him, we have been trying several PG/VG ratios and Nic levels. He is vaping a 70vg/30pg with 10mg that seems to be working but I fear is not enough nic, so once he becomes used to the feeling I'll push him to get a higher nic level so he can definetely quit. He still smokes but today he called me to tell me he's been off cigarettes for 2 days (for the first time in years)

That sounds very promising! Tell him I wish him luck!

+1! That's the kit that worked for me. The draw is very much like a cigarette, and it is easy to use. The last thing I wanted was something that was going to frustrate me and make me take the low road and smoke again. I never touched another cigarette after being my T18.

Great idea but if thats the approach then why not direct her to the pictures of your setup thread? So many classy setups of all varieties. Bound to be something in there that would catch her eye.

Picture of Your Setup Part 3!
