Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums. and new to Ecigs also

My first e cigg experience has been with Blu E ciggs. Nothing but trouble for them, took a month to ship when I was told a week... and they no longer ship to canada, so I wouldent be able to get refills. Anyway, I got a refund and was able to keep the kit, I have been using it while trying to get my ECV92 to work.

I purchased the ECV92 from ecigarettescanada, and it worked fine... at first, I used up both batteries like I was told. and then charged them each for 8 hours.

After charging I tried to use it again. I tried multiple cartrages, but each time I try to puff I get 3 blinking red leds at the end, and then nothing.

The batteries seemed to charge fine, but they did not turn green like they I was instructed.

Anyway, that was my first kit. I received a replacement in the mail today, and I am getting the same problem. Which led me to beleive I am doing somthign wrong.

This time I went right to charging for 8 hours straight, One using usb, and one in the wal socket.

And you cant beleive how frusterated and confused I am, I still get the 3 blinking light and then nothing!

It must be somthing I am doing wrong myself. After going threw 3 batteries!

Please, somone here must know the solution, hear me plea! I am in desperate need and suffering severe nicotine withdrawl :p

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Try wiping the threaded part of the battery to be sure it is clean and not wet with juice. Next slowly screw it into the charger until the battery LCD blinks three times, the charger light should go red. Stop and let it charge until the charger light goes green, then do the same for the next battery.
This is a generic instruction that I hope will help.

I have some flaky chargers that only work if I screw in the battery just until the light blinks and no further, it can be very frustrating.

Also clean the threads on the atomizer to ensure a good connection to the battery.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Im having a panic attack over these things.
I have had these sitting 'charging' all day for about 8 hours. The light on the battery went read this morning when i started. But the actual usb thing I screw it into has allways remained blue. When I unscrew the battery from the usb charger, It does its 3 blink. and also does that when screwed into a cartrage. I have tried whipeing them off, but no luck.

Do you know what this three blink led usually represents?

Thank you, I appreciate your help thus far.

The batteries seem to be fully charged. if I inhale on the battery without the cartage attached, It glows like it would if It had one attached and was working properly. But when I screw in a cartage and inhale, I get the three lights, every once and awhile.

The battery may have went green at some point today mid charging, they were glowing red when i first plugged them in. Now they just stay grey and the usb charger stays blue like it always has.
the light on the a/c unit has always remained green.

Its very weird that 4 batteries have the same issue. It just seems like I am doing somthing wrong. Like their in standby mode or somthing

Ps. I did what you suggested. everything is nice and clean and dry.

If anyone has been in this situation please, I beg you. speak up! :D

I think Angela is right about the cutoff.
My chargers all run on AC. If the charger went from red to green then the battery should have a good charge. Check your cartridge, it might be depleted, try a new one.
There is variation on the meaning of the blinking LEDs.
I'm not sure specifically what e-cig you have, but quick research seems to show it's a 'cartomizer' type which I'm not familiar with.

Thanks again for the tips guys!
I have only had a chance to get some vapor once, that is when I tried it out of the box with the factory charge (I just received this morning, but this is my secound kit this month, same problem)
I'm using one of the new two piece units. Just the Battery and the cartrage with built in atomiser.
I just received an email from the company I deal with and he told me that it was 8 hours to set memory then 3-4 after. So I put it in a different wal socket and am waiting a little longer. The battery is not lit up at all. when I first tried to charge it, it was red for an hour or so. then went grey like it is now.

I have tried multiple cartrages, I havent been able to use it at all to deplete it.

A couple of times I sucked in some liquid from the cartrage. :S

Any other ideas? :( im suffering. lol

Here is all of the info I could find on the EVC92 E- Cigg if this helps.
Its a two peice e cigg.

Introducing the ECV92 Electronic Cigarette

At (110mm), the ECV92 satisfies your nicotine cravings, providing approximately 300 puffs per cartridge. Choose between brown, green or white filters for your E-Cigarette and make that e-smoking experience all the more real.

The ECV92 works the same way all of our E-Cigarettes work except for the fact that each cartridge used with this model provides approximately 300 puffs. Normal E-Cigarette Cartridges for our other models provide approximately 150 puffs. Also built into each cartridge is a new atomizer.

Sorry for the double posting, I cant find the edit button. Also, I frogot to add to my last post.
It came in a black box that says "E Pleasure" "Electronic Cigarette" on the front. It has this usb thing the batteries screw into, usb extention thing and also an a/c converter so you can plug it into the wall.
I have charged for over 8 hours both ways.

They worked at first but now dont after charging? its so strange. I'll mention again that this is the secound kit i've received, with the same problem. It must be somthing im missing.

Main, its a pain to double post like this, but I still cant find the edit button.

I thought i'd post an update.

Just work up this morning, let two of my batteries charge over night.
And they are behaving they same way they were after the initial charge.

I have tried each of the 4 battries with each of the 12 carts I have, and no luck! this is driving me nuts.

Why would it work fine initially, then not after charging. It cant be a defect because all 4 are behaving exactly the same way.

Anyone here farmilliar with the 'cartomiser' style? I cant find anything online.
it just wont work with the atomiser and turn on, the battery seems to be fine when inhale on it without a cart attached.

This is my final plea! help! :p

thanks.

Sometimes if you screw them too tight into the charger, it pushes the center contact into the battery too far to make contact with the atomizer.

I use a paperclip or small screwdriver. Put it into the center hole of the battery and gently twist and pull up, to bring the contact button up to the surface. It's mounted on rubber, and sometimes pushes down. GENTLY!!!!!! Don't pull too hard or raise it too high. You could break the wires.

That center button has to be high enough to contact the atty. If this works, don't screw the battery too tight into the charger again, and you should be OK.

Thanks for the tip Mr. David. I've been trying that for about 20 mins now using a wooden skewer. I was worried about toching metal to it.
I was able to raise the little metal disc with the hole in it, and I can defiantly see what you mean.
I got it pretty close to the lip of the battery, I was worried about trying to get it any higher. Should it be flush with the bottom of the battery?

After messing around with the skewer and raising it a little bit, I'm getting the same pronblem. just the 3 led blink.
Which i'm sure now means the battery lighting the atomiser.

But again, thanks a lot. We're getting somwhere. I appreciate it.

Hopefully I can manage to get this working soon.

I apologize if I am coming off as a little to eager, but I suffer from ocd and bad panic attacks, So not having this working is driving me wild. (secound kit, same problem)

They worked out of the box. etch set of batteries. I charged all four over 8 hours. and yet, all they do is bink three times if any at all.

I bought a starter kit and two bottles of juice a month ago and have yet been able to use them :(.

Any other ideas Davis? you seem to know what your talking about.

Thanks!
