I don't know about you, but do you ever feel like we are the equivalent of the few left standing on Gloster Hill and being flanked on all sides.
While we are pre-occupied with holding the line against the MHRA, the commies in Brussels are looking to take us all out by stealth
Lobbying them is all well and good, but the EU are infamous for being PITA jobsworths with nowt better to do than making and following a pedants rulebook.
If the FDA and WHO say they are 'dangerous' you can bet your .... that Brussels will rule in tandem no matter what we feel on the subject, and no matter what the truth is.
I think our time would be better spent by formulating a black market for our supplies :2c:
Finally someone speaks sense !! :toast:

Petitions like these have the potential to cause damage and will (just like the previous one) achieve absolutely nothing ..... far better to be intelligent and start looking for alternative avenues and/or prepare for the inevitable ..... :(

A "black market" may well materialise but with the likes of ECITA banging on about how Vapers will just go underground, it will motivate "them" to keep a closer eye on things - if they really want to clamp down on vaping (which they most likely do) then I'm sure they've already got a few of their snotty nosed little admin assistants monitoring all the UK based suppliers as we speak ..... then if they attempt to continue doing business under the radar, they'll probably slap a few with a huge fine which would scare the crap out of the rest and bring things to a swift halt .....

This will happen not just to prevent "unregulated" supplies - but much more importantly due to under-the-counter Tax Evasion .....

Unless there are huge profits to be made from vaping (which there aren't as the user base is too small) and without a "criminal" element willing to take risks (like they do with other "illicit" substances!) I think a UK based black market will not be something we can rely upon in the long term ..... they may even start blocking shipments from overseas too ..... then again, things might go the exact opposite way and gear will freely be available everywhere ..... just more expensive with a massive slice going direct to the Treasury !!

Best thing to do right now is slowly but surely, stock up like crazy ..... and eventually learn to make our own juice !! :headbang:
