Hi. I'm not exactly new to the forum. I posted questions here many years ago when I switched to vaping. But I got a notice on the top of the screen to come to the new member forum. So here I am.

On to my point. Desperately need help. URGENT!!!! I bought a geekvape aegis solo 100w kit with a cerberus tank over 5 years ago. I just recently, maybe a month ago, had to replace the oring on the bottom of the top cap because I started having a hard time getting the top cap on and off and then it started to rip apart when I needed to refill the tank. The fact that the original lasted so long is pretty good and thank god for the extra parts pack that came in the box. But the replacement ring is now starting to do the same thing, so I need to get another one ASAP. I have been searching all over for one and I am not not finding anything anywhere. Not even on the geekvape page. HELP!

Does anyone know where I can get one? Is there one for a different tank that also can be used for the cerberus tank? Is there a different tank that I can get that will work on the aegis solo? This oring isn't going to last much longer and if I have to buy a new tank I will.

Take the old o-ring to a hardware store, they'll match it up.

I've seen some people suggest upgrading to a zeus tank. Can you use a zues tank on an aegis solo?
Since the Aegis is a flat top, you should be able to put any tank on it.

2 other choices: geekvape, or measure it with a vernier and order it from eBay or Amazon or something. Silicon o rings are a commodity item.

for A while basically every mod out there was 510. Any 510 will fit a 510. It would be nice if there was a standard with magnets but there isn’t. If it’s got magnets it’s proprietary and will eventually become useless. The solo has a 510 though which means it will fit just about any atty made in the last 15 years and for some magnet stuff there are adaptors. Usually old stuff is worse but with vapes it seems to be better. There is a Limit to that of course. The *really* old stuff is just primitive, but there was a sweet spot period that produced better stuff and the solo is in it.

My favorite tank is the Fireluke 2. Been using the same one for years. I had 2 but broke the glass on one and never replaced it. Coils generally run in the .12 to .20ohm range or therabouts and work perfectly at 55 to 60 watts. Freemax made a bigger version but i didnt like it so much. Flavor issue, the smaller one does much better for flavor.

I ask because it just seems to be getting harder to find the stuff for the aegis solo, which is understandable considering it is old. If anyone has a suggestion of a compatible but better and more current box mod I welcome the suggestions. I know that sooner or later I will have to replace the one I have.
It’s always good to have a backup set just in case it stops working. I’m sure you’ll get lots of advice!
