Damn! I am VERY new to DIY, ie have messed about at my friend's house with his equipment. Am trying to run this by him (as I am a total noob)...he says (and may be wrong) that using within a year or so of manufacture is OK (although some flavors/mixes "change" more than others) if they are kept in glass, which is not the case here. He says that in plastic at room temp, 6-8 months is all he would really trust. I am so torn! He has flavors from all the manufactures, and is VERY partial to Inawera. QUESTION: what percentage roughly have BB dats ending around now, versus Jan 2015?

Thanks for bringing this up. I had forgotten that IW prints BB dates. Honestly, I didn't think any were that old. Time flies. Better this come up now rather than after it's been shipped and I end up with an unhappy buyer. That's not worth 45 bucks.

Here's what I found regarding BB codes:
5 - 1/2015
30 - 10/2015
8 - 12/2015

I have tested a few fairly recently and they still seem fine. I have other flavorings I still use that are over 3 years old and still viable. But, flavor is a matter of opinion and taste so take that with a grain of salt. What seems okay to me might be unacceptable to others.
