Hey All,

I live in Canada but grew up in California and am attending my best friend's wedding in San Diego in a few weeks. In anticipation, I decided to take advantage of low shipping costs within the US, and have ordered 7 separate juice orders from various vendors - all shipped to my buddies place in San Diego. All in all, it's probably around 300ml, maybe a bit more. Tons of different flavors, thus tons of small bottles.

Will also have some new 18650's and a Pila charger with me, for my new Reo Grande that's on it's way.

What do you recommend in terms of bringing these back into Canada across customs? I don't intend to sell them, at all, but I could see how that amount of juice might raise suspicion. I got a little carried away... Probably roughly 35 small bottles (got a 10x 3ml Want2Vape sampler).

I'm thinking I should wrap them in a bunch of separate cellophane bundles (like 5 bottles per bundle) and put them in random clothes pockets all throughout my checked baggage. Is this smart/dumb? Too indicative of smuggling? I'll put the Pila charger in there too, but take the 18650's as carry-on as is proper with batteries. I was also thinking about putting as much juice as I could in my carry-on liquid ziplock, just in case the checked stuff gets nabbed - as I've heard they don't care as long as it adheres to the 3-1-1 rule.

Any tips?

I've mailed to Canada before. If I were you and it was found, tell them that it is flavored glycerin for cooking or a body lotion. I would also possibly remove the mg from the label if you can.

Thats a good one, or fragrance oils for making candles..all they'd have to do is smell them, and they'd believe you.and yeah, definitely remove anything that mentions nicotine or mg.

Howdy Chuck!
Meems and hairball have very good ideas.

Prepare to have all of your fluid confiscated at worst.
When I went to Vancouver Island a few years back for a repair job at a hospital, customs put me through the wringer, eh?(sorry, I couldn't help that.) With tool kits and loads of highly specialized electronics, it was really painful.
You may want to try a smaller quantity as a test first.
Cellophane won't stop x-rays, or the more sophisticated imaging equipment.
Fluids in carry-on bags is a big no-no. Don't do that.
Hmmm, you're going to need more research if yer gonna pull this caper off succesfully.
Canadian customs are a beotch. They don't screw around and they're usually in a bad mood.
I don't mean to be a downer, but you may have some trouble.
Maybe remove the labels, print new ones that say "food flavoring" "candle stench", or something like that.
I think that there is a Canadian section on this forum. Perhaps someone there can help.
I really love y'alls little island nation, it's extremely beautiful...
I've been thinking aboot going there for a vacation at some point in the future.
You must post back and let us know how it worked oot(sorry again) for ya.
What is the 3-1-1 rule?
Good luck, my canuckian brutha!
Try to behave yourself in San Diego!
