I have not had their original red, but I have had their USA mix. USA mix is like a toned down 555, as it is distinctly nutty with a touch of 'smoky' flavor. IMO it's not too bad, but the Highway (aka 555) is much better and more flavorful.

But I am telling you now, regardless of what juice you will try, it will NOT be like a analog, even in the slightest. If you are expecting a juice to taste like a Marlb light, you will be sorely disappointed no matter where you buy your juice.

Buy LOTS of samples, and I am serious about this one. If you are buying all your juice from LF, then get at least 5 to 10 samples of various tobacco flavors (and strengths) to see which one you like the best.

Also keep in mind nic strength plays a massive role in taste. I like LF's Highway with 18mg nic and 100% PG, its a very smooth, nutty flavor. But when I got the 24mg nic 100% PG version it was terribly harsh, not so good tasting, and overall very unenjoyable.

If I was you, I would buy at least two of each flavor that you want to sample, one with a higher nic, and one with lower nic. You will be surprised at how negatively (or sometimes positively) the nic level can impact the taste.

Sadly in the e-juice world, simply being 'tolerable' is what you end up aiming for because most juices out there are pretty terrible. If you can find something that just gets you through the day without being overly offensive to your pallet, that is about as good as it gets. I know you always read about how X person absolutely loves Y juice and how they can vape it till the end of time.. But I am telling you that is a load. It simply does not happen to most of us. Good juice to me is juice that is tolerable and something I can vape all day long without getting overly sick of the flavor (I have not found this juice yet).

Now, I did not like the USA mix - the almond undertone as they call it left an aftertaste in my mouth. I no longer use the tobacco flavors, but when I did I preferred LF's Turk and Virginia blends.

You are going to find that taste are very subjective when it comes to e-liquid. Buy 5ml sample bottles first so not to waste to much. I think that you will also find that as you vape you will try things outside the tobacco flavors. May I suggest cherry, brandy, cappuccino, and coffee from LF. You might even find that they mix well with the tobacco flavors as an accent flavor or the tobacco flavor can be used to accent them. First, step towards learning how to mix to your own taste buds...

So I ended up getting the 18mg Original Red. Hope I'll like it. My next purchase will have many different kinds of flavors haha, seems like everyone loves the flavored one! Thanks for the opinions!

Ah man you ignored the most important part of my post... buy lots of samples! :2cool:

Trust me, I am new to the ecig stuff too, and my first major mistake was only buying one flavor that I thought would be perfect for me when I got my start-up kit from LF (it ended up being really nasty and almost ruined the entire experience for me). And since I had no other juice to try, it was not a good thing.

I hope for your sake that the flavor is good enough for you, but when it comes to eliquid I have found that you can never have enough samples and options at your disposal. No one juice ever seems to do it all the time (unlike analogs, which I smoked the same brand and flavor for over 8 years). No so with eliquid, as it has a strange taste property/tolerance that seems to change on a daily basis (its more along the lines of food than smoke, and as most of us have experienced, even our favorite foods can get old very quickly if that is all we eat).

I may like one flavor for a few hours then get utterly sick of it, and I am constantly switching things up. I still have hope there is that one perfect flavor for me out there that I can vape 24/7 any time of day or night, but I am still looking after trying ~25 sample flavors from almost a dozen vendors (with more on the way).

You will wished you had bought more to try out, even if you like the flavor (as you will want more of it). You will also start to recognize that waiting 3-4 days for liquid to ship to you can be the longest you will ever have to wait for anything in life, lol.

I know it sounds crazy, but when you can't just drive down the street to pick up a pack of your favorite smokes (or in this case, e-liquid), you realize that with the online game you need to be overly prepared for any possible contingency. Back-ups for back-ups is not uncommon practice. Spend the few extra dollars for the other flavor you were eyeballing, as the flavor you chose may not be good at all and you will have wished you got the other one as well.

I was never impressed with the USA-Mix or RED-USA juices. I preferred the Desert Ship but not because it had the actual analog taste. I just liked the 'nutty' taste that seemed to be blended into it. It is nearly impossible to duplicate an analog because what you get with analogs is a smoking burning taste. The best thing to do is try to separate your mind from that "smokey' taste and think about how the tobacco itself tastes or smells. Think about how a fresh pack of analogs smell when you first open them. I recently tried some tobacco flavors from vapingzone.com and they are pretty true to form. Their "Real Cig" is about as close to the real cigarette taste (without the burning taste of course) that I have found. I also like the "Honey Flue Cured" which is actually a Virginia blend. I have been vaping that as an all day vape for the better part of a week now. They have quite a few other tobacco flavors available now too.

I think I already made the order before I replied :glare: But anyways... I am going to order some more flavors tomorrow morning :p I'll prob get 10 different flavors in the smallest size. Any good site with good flavors that you would suggest? TIA!

Honey Flue Cured tastes like honey?? god I love honey. I was reading the reviews for USA and RED and they said it's the closest to Marlboro Lights so I got them... Hope they are okay to me lol.
