USB Passthrough amps/ohms

Hi Everyone,

I have a USB passthrough for my old 808 cartos.

It works great on my computer but some cartos taste burnt after only a few toots. Are they unable to handle it? Why do some work great and others taste awful. (freshly filled, no way they are dry)

Also ... I ordered a USB adapter for my car. I know I need minimum of 2amps but the one I ordered is 3.1amps. Will that be too much?

I've never used 808 cartos, but I suspect this is iether about the output voltage of the passthrough being a bit high for your 808 cartos or having bad cartos. What resistnace are they? How old are they? Any idea what the output voltage is of the passthrough? In any case, if anyone knows more about 808 cartos than I do (which is zero ) please chime in.

As for the USB adapter, having more amps available is just fine. The passthrough will take only what it needs.

Thanks for your response. I have no idea what resistance they are, they came with my smokeless image kit.
