I ordered one finally and the poor thing has been sitting here for 4 days. Tried it today when my battery died and realized how awesome they are...why I didn't plug it in sooner beats me!

As paranoid as I am about batteries, I really only use them while I'm getting ready for work (putting on make-up and such) and while out and about LOL

Agreed, those passthroughs are awesome!!! I use mine all day at work, had it for over a month now and still going strong(pen style)... Enjoy!!!
they have USB adapters that plug in to the cigarette lighter. i bought one but haven't tried it out since i got my power pack.
it works anywhere and i don't have to worry about any added strain on the cord.

i keep my passthrough cord plugged into my battery pack so the distance from my pocket (to my mouth) is kept to a minimum.
if i used the USB adapter for the cigarette lighter it would mean leaving the cord strung across the console to get caught on stuff and i would have to unplug from the powerpack to plug in to the adapter and then reverse the whole process once i reach my destination. i think the passthroughs are prone to failure mostly at the connections, so i try to minimize any unnecessary strain at those points. plus it's easier and i'm lazy. lol
These are pretty much all the same, and same price (with a dollar or two shipping difference). You basically have to go with whoever's in stock at any given time.....right now the first 2 are and the last 3 aren't!

Can anyone recommend a vendor that has the passthrough with the inline battery as well?
I can't post a link but east mall has two types with an inline type of battery.
Either style would work. Prefer US Vendor who has this in stock.
vapor4life has the battery passthrough thing but they don't have a website yet. You have to look in the supplier thread to find them.
