Yes it does. It's just a battery device and it's the battery that is powering the atty. No current is 'passing through' to the atty when hooked up. You are just powering the built-in charger.
What would happened if the battery doesn't hold a charge or can't be recharged anymore?
Can USB battery be charged on a regular charger (not using USB)? Just curios.

Thanks. Sellers shouldn't advertise them like "pass-trough" in this case because the batteries are expensive. Kinda deceptive.
Quite confusing and inaccurate.

If you notice Janty sells an eGo USB battery. They never refer to as a pass through. If you search Janty's site for 'PT' or 'pass through' you'll get:

They do provide an accurate description
The Janty eGo USB battery allows the user to vape while charging the battery. This USB battery includes an astounding 5 foot USB charging cable allowing for ample mobility while charging.
