vaping 3 month newbie here, and yes, previously a 35 years analog smoker. Wish vaping was around in the 70's. lol. Would have saved me from smoking All of those nasty cigs...

Could someone tell me if I can plug my 510 mega and usb charger into any 'AC to usb' connector? Don't want to fry my battery, but I think they all output 5V...

Thanks

You're looking for the 'output' numbers. You cannot use an eGo charger on your 510 mega/xl batt. It will definitely fry it. You need to look at the miliamps "mA" which should be on the back of the charger. The eGo charger is 420mA on output whereas the 510 or 510 mega/xl charger is rated from 100 to @240mA.

Here the top one is for a 510 and the bottom one for an eGo.

Here's a mega kit where the charger is rated 240mA. Sometimes the 510 charger is rated at 100, 150, 200, 240 but never above 400mA

It sounds like op is maybe asking if it is ok to plug their charger into a usb power supply.

Charger = USB male on one side, 510 Connector on the other.

Power Supply = AC plug on one side, USB female on the other.

You want the power supply output USB mA greater than or equal to the charger USB input mA. These numbers will be printed on the two devices, in most cases.

Prior post is correct, too. You want the charger output mA less than or equal to the mAh of the battery that is connected to it. If you have a 280 mAh battery, you want the charger output to be no more than 280 mA.
