Did anyone else notice that Steve increased the price of the USBpass from $34.95 to $39.95?

IMHO, the USBpass is still a screaming bargain at $39.95.

Considering the premium-quality materials and workmanship involved, and the difficulty Puresmoker has had trying to meet the crushing demand for the USBpass, I'm a bit surprised that Steve waited this long to increase the price.

I wonder when he will increase the price of the Prodigy...

I still think it's a fair price for something that is going to hold up much longer compared to the China ones and also allows for adapter changes without having to buy a PT for each different atomizer. People were paying retail anywhere from $14 to $23 for China ones, which do not hold up to the test of time. So you actually will be ahead $$ wise in the long run. Just the same as to buying a good device with longer lasting batteries and cheaper replacement batteries. You eventually will recoup the costs, while allowing a much saner vaping experience without the constant frustration.

In all seriousness...these things (Passthroughs and Prodigys) would be a bargain at twice the price...so long as they hold up. I burned through 6 $19.95 passthroughs in four months. 2 of those were DOA (but I never bothered to return them to Steve as he had already dropped the line.)

I am exhuberant about the fact that Steve took the initiative to develop a durable and reliable esmoking platform...and not that many of the imports are being held up in Customs its obvious his forward thinking was providential. What would happen if Steve hadn't done what he did and we COULDN'T obtain replacement equipment from China????

I bought (and broke) two Screwdrivers, burnt through 4 pass throughs (had two more DOA) and burnt up one traditional penstyle in less than six months....total cost ...appx $500. If these items last....as I suspect they will....they ARE a bargain.

Thanks for everything Steve

Quality costs. That's why I drive BMW's. That's why I own Apple computers. That's why I wear tailored microfiber suits that last 4 years. That's why I buy my particular brand of italian shoes. And yanno? My suits last forever, I replace computers ever five years, my cars last a decade, I've had the same pair of shoes for 4 years, and I'm pretty happy. I ordered two of these forty dollars pass-throughs and thought nothing of it. I also ordered a V1 and can't wait for it to get here. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. So while other people are paying half what I pay for things that break in a year, I'm set. There's a price-point. Finding it saves you a ton of cash, while enabling you to enjoy some of the finer things in life.
