Like I said and it's the last time I'll say it...you like to complain. You wanted something and refused to pay the price the person wanted for it...so be it. That was your choice to make but don't go complaining to everyone on here about why certain prices are asked for PV's (I'm not talking about cars). Overall I absolutely agree that some of the pricing in classies looks silly to me, but forum rules basically say bite your tongue unless someone is outrageously gouging. If someone is looking to buy stuff in the over $100 zone, shame on them if they haven't done their homework on current price and availability for what they want to buy.

Some people are impulse buyers. They want Cool mod X asap, and if they are willing to pay near list, or even a premium, that is their choice.

A given buyer may be acting on impulse, or because they know the seller is in a tight spot. (yes, there have been sales where buyer was explicitly willing to sell it back to seller in the future, essentially a loan to a friend).

Everyone on ecf is supposed to be an adult, and information on available products and prices is certainly readily available here.

I find your statement very offensive and it makes me angry as hell! You don't even know Hairball. She is the most giving, generous and honest person I know on this forum. If I were you, I would shut the up because you are not only venting, which you have the right to do, but you are attacking a persons character. If someone is selling something for more than people want to pay for it, it will not sell.
If it does not sell they will lower the price, or decide not to sell it.

And if it does get sold then someone felt it was worth the price.

I fail to see anything at all wrong with this arrangement.

I've just skimmed the thread but why is someone worried about how much other people are selling and buying used products for. People sell at what the market is willing to pay, plain and simple and if you don't want to pay a used price or new for that matter no matter how unfair or fair you think the price is then don't. The next person might and consider it a great value, that's all that matters. If no one thinks the price was fair the price would come down or the seller can keep it.

Some prices seem a bit high, but things are tough for people. Maybe someone's going through a bad patch or they got a little crazy and over-spent. Who knows. I did see a pv on their that cost more than it sold for on a site. But maybe where they bought it they overpaid. Who knows.

So, no one wants to talk about shipping?

Swedish...I've been noticing the shipping prices also. I only buy from vendors that offer 1st class but all the same, they even overcharge for that. However, I don't mind paying $3 because envelopes aren't cheap and if they use something like stamps.com, they charge a monthly service charge. But, for shipping something 1st class but charging priority pricing is stupid and once people catch on and pay a little bit of attention, the vendor will lose in the end. I just bought 2 juices from V4L...$6.95 shipping for 60ml...stupid as can be to charge that but I got the shipping free from using a sale coupon so I tell myself that I got free shipping plus a couple bucks off the juices. If you like banana, try their banana breeze.

So, what are you doing now? Sounds like complaining to me since it's the choice of the buyer if they want the item or not. They can easily pass on the deal that's presented to them and move on. No one's holding a gun to their head saying, "Buy this sucka or I'm gonna blow your brains out!". Come on now.......well, thinking about it. When I first read the thread and saw your first post. It's not really complaining, it's more like whining.
