Welcome to ECF . And yes , if you want to start with a silica wick , type device . I just bought a Smok "octopus " RDA , that will hold around 10 drops of juice at a time . They are very cheap , 8 to 9.00 , and they even sell extra coil/wicks for them . Not really a tank , but a good place to start , on the cheap .

A lot of folks say that the Smoketech RSST is a good RBA for new users. In fact, the only negative I've heard about it is the fact that it has a plastic tank so you probably wouldn't want to use juices that might etch it such as ones with citrus oils and/or cinnamon.
What are you looking for? A dripper, genesis type, or silica one like an Ithaka?
look at the ghetto cobra also.
the top cap screws on, holds the tank in good.
easy to use also.
i'm playin with one right now.
comes setup to use.
the wyvern seems to be more of a dripper
i haven't dropped alot of juice in it yet to see if it leaks.

This is nice quality and I like it. Watch the video, it really is that easy. Ive been using it for a month with silica and bamboo wick. Decided to try my very first stainless wick Friday, and after the initial shock, lack of flavor, its been working great with outstanding flavor.

being new to the world of RBA i'd suggest something cheaper to play with, for the genesis style, the RSST has to be one of the most user friendly one, for dripping style, RDA, the IGO-L is a great place to start.

If you need something that is really easy to wick then start with Smoktech RDA - I had never such an easy-to-use device and it takes about 15-20 drops without problems... Thats enough for 30-60 minutes of easy vaping ;-)

I bought an A7 and a bunch of replacement coils. Now I wrap my own and love it. Didn't take long to learn how to wrap.
The RDA (Octopus) is the easiest RBA I've had... and the e-juices are flavorful. It's my favorite.
I don't understand the functionality of Drippers.. does it mean i will be walking around with a bottle of e-juice all day? how long will a few drops last me before i have to refill it? am i dripping straight down the drip tip or pulling it off all the time? i am not new to the game. but new to drippers. I've always stuck with clearomizers and such. i will be receiving my first mech mod soon! (Sigelei #19) and i thought that one of the cheapie drippers from sun-vapors.com would look sweet ontop, but not convinced yet. even for 6$ ...

Ryan- Dripper atomizers are not exactly considered portable. And yes, you would constantly be taking the tip off and dripping more juice every 20 or so puffs. They are mostly made for sitting at a desk or on the couch or something and vaping/dripping/vaping/dripping/etc. Great for trying out new flavors, as they are super easy to clean. The other perk is that you will not get better performance or customizability out of any other device. Flavor, vapor, and throat hit are as good as they can be, given you have built a good coil and wick setup.

The next time my budget allows I'll be picking up a couple of those cheapie drippers too.
Most drippers will hold 8-10 drops of juice without leaking out the air hole. The "Octopus" with a factory wick or one that is built to resemble it can hold maybe 20 drops. The Vision Eternity can hold 30-40 drops, about as much liquid as a 1.6ml clearo.
I prefer a dripper for flavor, ease of use (yes, I take my drip tip off and then drip into the atty), and the fact that if you want to change flavors you aren't wasting a whole tank of juice to do it. I *still* take a tank device if I am going out where dripping isn't convenient, like longer drives (friends don't let friends drip and drive!
) To the pub, with friends? A tank *and* a dripper (and a bottle of my favorite juice at the moment) goes with me.10 drops might not sound like much but I bet you get at least as much vapor from that amount as you would smoke from one cigarette.
I am seriously considering an AGA-T2 but I really don't want to mess with SS mesh. DOes anyone happen to have a link to a video or even just photos of how to build this with Silica/cotton wick? I have kinda been crapping out finding one.
