Using a digital multifunction volt meter

Today I had the opportunity to use a digital multifunction volt meter on both 650mah (rubber black) and the 1200mah (stainless steel) versions of the ego variable voltage from apollo.

Both units, when cycled from 3.0v to 6.0v, in 0.1v increases, maintained their voltage perfectly, and steadily.

It may not be a provari, but for 30-40 bucks, color me plenty impressed. If you decide to go that route, be sure to look around for coupon deals.

Considering you can get an actual Joytech eGo twist 650mAh for $22.99 and a 1000mAh for $25.99 from a US supplier, the prices are not impressive to me.

EDIT: I will say if they could make the internal batteries replaceable at that price, that would be awesome.

Sounds good - but was there a load on the devices?

You need a load on the battery when you test the voltage.

A car engine might run great when it's in neutral, but it could choke right out when you put it in gear.
