I've been vapeing for about 5 weeks now and was thinking of going to a VV model.
I was looking at the Apllo eGo-VV battery. Sells for about 27 bucks. But with recent problems with my Apollo stuff I am beginning to have concerns about the quality and durability of their products.
So any recommendations in the same price range and features?
Below is a comparison posted by Apollo, theirs vs the eGo twist.

Apollo eGo-vv has 3.0v - 6.0v range. The eGo Twist only goes to a maximum voltage of 4.8v.
Apollo eGo-vv has LCD display to indicate Voltage setting in 0.1v increments, and battery charge level indication graphic. Much more precise voltage indication than the eGo Twist and with the twist you have no idea what the charge level is on the battery.
Apollo eGo-vv has built-in pass-through charging port. With the eGo Twist you can't use the battery while it's charging.
You can lock the voltage with Apollo eGo-vv to avoid accidental adjustment to the voltage. With the eGo Twist there is no way to prevent accidental adjustment of the voltage.

I started VV with an Ego Twist, which is great for what it does. But as I am almost exclusively on rebuildables now, I use a VV Gripper and Lavatube since they can check resistance/ The VV Gripper is plastic and cheaply made, but it is my favorite. It goes for $40-$60 without the battery. The Lavatube is big and heavy and will run you about $50-$60 without a battery. That said, I've seen Ego Twists now for less than $20.

What I've found is like cars... you get what you pay for. You buy an escort don't expect it to handle well at high speeds or do 130mph. Or to last for 10 years... not quality built or engineered for longevity.
I wasted hundreds of dollars on cheap cigarette sized apv's before I heard about VV on these forums. I bought a Lavatube... works WONDERFULLY. Got my wife one... then helped 8 more friends get set up with them and every one of them are ecstatic about them. Since Provari is the stick by which all other vv apv's are measured I went and bought one of the V 2 Provari. I love it too and have to admit that it is everything the people on the forums say it is. I would and have recommended to family and friends to get the Provari if you can afford it. If you can't, go with a Lavatube it's a great product for the price and works almost as well as the Provari.
