Using a multimeter

I've been flogging the search function trying to find this info...can anyone tell me HOW to use a multimeter? I have two, gained from when I did salvage jobs. One is an older, very professional model, the other is newer. They seem to have the same functions. But I'm not an electric-savvy guy. Is there a tutorial somewhere at ECF, or a link to somewhere?

If this is the wrong place to ask, feel free to move, mods....
