Para, I'm assuming you don't mean using clearos and cartos at the same time ;). If you haven't found Shan's videos on YouTube yet, do a search there for Shan Burkholder, she's done a number of tank mods. Others have used cartos and drilled/cut holes in the SS sleeve and put in a tank.

Hope this helps
Appreciate the info !

I'll pass on Shan's. I remember a lot of discussion on wanting to use both cartos and clearos in the same tank, but can't remember the threads where both were used.

I tried the cutouts and didn't like the way it wicked and when the sleeve is cut, debris is left inside the tank so I'd rather cut off the carto sleeve or pull off the clearo sleeve and then insert in the tank.

Maybe pics will help explain the thread I'm looking for....(didn't think of taking a pic while the tank was empty so they look the same). The tank is the same; the only difference is what's inside.

Sine the mod is to the tank, not what goes inside, so I was wondering how others might have modded a tank. If their version is better, there's no sense in reinventing the wheel so I'll do what they did. I'll bet they did; I just missed the discussion and examples.

For what it's worth:
All I do to switch between a reg. CE2s and a Vortex is to change my O rings.

That's good to know. Hopefully I'll try the Vortex and see how I like it.

The only way I could figure out how to use both Clearos and Cartos in the same Tank Mod was install a modded 510-510 adapter in the base of the Tank Mod. Then, it's just a matter of screwing either in the adapter and reassembling the Tank Mod.

That sounds like the tank that Good Prophets has. (GMTA)

It's actually 2 adapters I believe. A 510 to 901, and then a 901 to 510 male to connect to the PV. You can use a 510 modder connector but you have to slot the center pin and drill some small holes, #61, on the top of the 510 threads to get your airflow. You'll also need to put a small o-ring or thin gasket between the carto and connector in the tank to keep the juice from getting in.

All these tanks are the same as the maptank in way of design, but with a bit different of Caps, why isn't anyone making an inexpensive 510 Atty tank THAT WORKS ? other than Imeo and his $150 UFS with 500 O-Rings, nobody can make this ???? Arry especially YOU,,, you have been making beautiful tanks for the longest out of everyone involved here, don't mean to be rough on anyone here but a 510 Atty tank would make lots more sense to me, Arry especially your tanks they have always been the most beautiful tanks going back a couple of years now, what do you say Arry can you make an inexpensive 510 Atty tank that works with no flaws.?? Can anyone make a 510 Atty tank with no flaws that just works with no issues, fill and vape ??? this seems to be an issue and this tank would be in high demand yet nobody seem to be able to produce it other than Imeo @ $150

Good info.

One hole in the 510-510 and a slot in the center pin was enough for air on mine; I couldn't see swaping threads between 901 and 510 tho.

I make what I like to use, the 901 is my favorite, so I make an 901 AVS Tank

If a 510 AVS Tank is important to you; why don't you stop whining about it and make it yourself?
