@TV- Just a thought but maybe you miss your lil breaks that you took to smoke (regardless of the smoking itself). From what I can gather your job requires alot of you mentally and there is not alot of room for error (great for someone prone to anxiety ;) ) I read your post a few up and I can totally relate to some of the things you were saying. My smoke breaks of old would give me a few minutes to 'center' myself and be able to let my mind wander. My mind usually wandered to the next task at hand and when I went back into work I was focused and ready to tackle anything. Since I have quit smoking I find that if I take pretend smoke breaks with the same frequency I used to take the real ones, I can get almost the same result. When I smoked, I had at least 20 little self imposed time outs a day. That's over 1 a waking hour. To deprive myself of that now that I have quit the dastardly habit just wouldn't be fair. Just a thought.

Hi ya W :). I've considered that and actually thought about digging out the PV for the added effect, but since I've progressively gone down hill and "centering" myself is more of a frustration than an accomplishment I think it's all chemical. Had I had this problem shortly after giving up vaping I would suspect habit/lifestyle change, but I'm too far removed from it or smoking. That and the progression. Not really any good days, just a steady decline.

Ok, mood and concentration has been generally the same over the last few days until yesterday. Yesterday seemed a little darker and less focused than the previous few. Not being one to wait forever, todays dose was 400mg this morning and another 400mg tonight. Patience has run low....I'm a bad test subject (told ya exo). I'll hold at 1600mg daily until I feel better, worse or die. And according to all the studies I've read, the latter isn't likely :).

Hi W :). No, yesterday was one of my ...uh...dark days. Straight outta bed I had a nice argument with my 12 year old daughter (she'll be the death of me), which put Momma in a mood, which came back to me, which set the course for the day. Today is much better though. I'm still on1600mg of SAM-e and no drastic improvements. :)

Still on the 1600mg dosage with good results. Not earth-shattering, but my moods are generally better and thinking much clearer. Originally I was taking 800mg in the am, then the other 800mg in the late afternoon. I hadn't felt much different and was considering upping the dosage, but starting 5 days ago I decided try the revised 1600mg once a day to see if anything changed. That seems to have made the difference. I feel it should be higher for better benefits, but according to about all the studies the SAM-e appears to accumulate over time, so eventually dosages are reduced to maintenance levels with all the good benefits of higher dosages remaining. I'll stay where I'm at for a while.
