@TV- Just a thought but maybe you miss your lil breaks that you took to smoke (regardless of the smoking itself). From what I can gather your job requires alot of you mentally and there is not alot of room for error (great for someone prone to anxiety
) I read your post a few up and I can totally relate to some of the things you were saying. My smoke breaks of old would give me a few minutes to 'center' myself and be able to let my mind wander. My mind usually wandered to the next task at hand and when I went back into work I was focused and ready to tackle anything. Since I have quit smoking I find that if I take pretend smoke breaks with the same frequency I used to take the real ones, I can get almost the same result. When I smoked, I had at least 20 little self imposed time outs a day. That's over 1 a waking hour. To deprive myself of that now that I have quit the dastardly habit just wouldn't be fair. Just a thought.
