Mike, i'm sure that someone here has tried it,probally with minimal success,as atomizer cleaning has not been perfected yet.there is a seperate thread or two on how to clean your atomizers here on the forum.Worst comes to worst...you'll have a "minty fresh" atomizerThe Wiz!

semi-related, but --- i was wondering if jewelry cleaner would work really well, or would it destroy the atomizer? my mom was cleaning rings with some special jewelry cleaner and i had her do my watch too -- you could see the gunk on the towel that came from the nooks in my watch band.

Has anyone tried this? I'll try to find out the brand/active ingredient of the cleaner.

I'm thinking of trying my steam cleaner. Little bottle advertized for cleaning kitchens etc. Shoots out a jet of steam.
