If they still have flavor and vapor, you're fine. If they taste like something singed... oops.

I think what Cags meant was that you can get a bottle of juice and refill the carts. It comes in a drip-tip bottle so this is easy. It's also far less expensive, and offers a huge selection of flavors and strength options.

If these are cartridges (you'll know this if your system is a 3 piece set up, using the battery, atomizer and the cartridge) generally they're labeled/marketed as having more inhalations than is actually in the cartridge and unless you've capped them to seal them back up I would say it's probably dry, depending on the amount of time they've been put up.

If it's a cartomizer (you'll know this if your system is a 2 piece set-up, they will hold more than the cartridges. They generally have more wadding/filler material and will not generally dry out unless you vape til it's dry.

But good news, as Cags mentioned you can add liquid to them.

A cart is a cartridge - a plastic and stuffing piece that pushes onto or into a separate atomizer. You can refill them, you can rinse the cart and stuffing and dry the cart, and pat dry and refluff the stuffing and put it back in. If you have a 510 you can replace the stuffing with the precut blue foam stuffing from strictlyejuice.com. If you got something smaller than a 510 you can cut down those little stuffing pieces for your carts. If you have something bigger, you can cut stuffing from the bulk blue foam whihc is Marineland Rite-Size U Bonded Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum Filter Canisters (an aquarium product Petsmart carries).

But most people switch to cartomizers for most of their vaping. Hold more liquid, more consistent way to vape, but they have limited lives. We call them cartos. They cannot be restuffed. We keep them damp with suitable liquid to get 4-7 days use out of each or more.

I notice on the forum lately that people are mixing up the terms cart and carto - as dormouse mentioned, they are not the same!
