Using same cartomizer

Hi,

I'm very new to e-cigs... I just got my order a few days ago... and I'm dying to try all of these small packets of flavor that I bought... But from what I've been reading, I would need to use a new cartomizer for each flavor?

Man! This means that until I find something that I really like I would need to go through packs of these things! Is there any way for me to use the same one for a different flavor without having the two flavors be so mixed that I can't tell what I'm smoking? Thanks!

I believe I have read in other threads about people flushing carto's with flavorless juice - or in some cases, boiling carto's for five minutes and then allowing them to dry for a few days... I myself have done neither, but I'm sure someone will chime in shortly...

You can try those methods. Personally I tend to just vape through the previous flavor providing it wasn't a overly strong flavor. I can do that wit 2 maybe 3 flavors then I have to get a new carto.

Alternatively, you can invest in an eight-buck atomizer and drip different e-liquids into it. Cleanup between flavors is simple. There are lots of methods: search for some. You'll come up with a bunch of them.

I favor the isopropyl alcohol in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner method myself. If you use that method, be certain your atty is thoroughly dry before reusing it! The taste of isopropyl alcohol is memorably awful.

The cartos with no filler (CE2 for example) don't really need to be cleaned. Just a quick rinse, a few seconds "dry burn" and you can be vaping a new flavor in 5 mins. The kind with filler need to be cleaned out to get rid of the old flavor unless you don't mind mixing flavors.
