It is labeled as Glycerin USP and has a lot number and expiration date. The expiration date is good so long as the seal is not broken. Up to five years shelf life is typical. After breaking the seal on the bottle the glycerin is no longer USP and should be used up or discarded after 12-18 months. That's why experienced DIY vapers often prefer the smaller 177ml bottles.

Glycerin USP is pharmaceutical grade glycerin and the best quality you can buy for vaping purposes.

It is typically sold in US drug stores in clear plastic 177ml bottles. The stores (CVS, Walmart, Rite-Aid, etc.) all sell the same product. It is made by Humco who stick the different store names on the bottles. The Humco glycerin is USP, Kosher, and vegetable derived.

I got both from Walmart and CVS. In the pic, left is from CVS and right is from Walmart. Look around rubbing alcohol shelf in Walmart and around cosmetic shelf in CVS.
