usps stricks again

just happened to me too, instead of going from IL straight to NY mine took a 4 day tour of RI, left IL last tues the 15th at 1 am, from the 16th at 4am through 20th it sat in RI then finally hit long island last night at 930pm and got to me today, as opposed to the normal 2 day delivery. gotta love USPS

Not really, like Lynn said its delivery confirmation so it should tell you when its delivered, it just might not be right along the way

I often get a delivery and it shows it's a thousand miles away still. Then the next day POOF! Delivered. So even that isn't reliable in real-time. But eventually it'll show the delivery.

There have been many threads going over the process in detail here, assuming that USPS "stricking" [sic] is what I think it is.

Yes, it is a little frustrating. I am still waiting on an order from June 11. And this is the first time this has ever happened to me. Not just with v4L, but from anywhere. Whether it was delivery confirmation or tracking, it has always updated, even when it went way out of it's way to get to me, and that only happened to me once. But this one package hasn't had a single update since it says it received electronic info to ship. I actually placed two orders on the same day, and received the first one, but the second one hasn't moved at all. I always felt so lucky because I have never had a package lost, or undelivered, or had the website not show it's route, even the wrong route! But this one shows nothing. So there's a first for everything. Curious to see if my latest order arrives before this one does!

I would definitely give the USPS a call. They may not be able to tell you asap, but once they know that the customer is calling and wondering where the package is, they should get around to figuring out what the situation is.

My package updated a little while ago to say it left Chicago, so its done a nice Illinois tour now lol
