Ok, I'm at that "coughing/hacking up all the garbage I collected from 30 years of analogs stage." It's
not all that bad, but still disgusting. How long does this stage last? I'm already feeling the
system cleaning itself now, but still gross.

In my case, a week to ten days, with the end of that period being a lot less disgusting than the beginning. Your mileage will vary, though!

Everyone is different. I was coughing things up before I started vaping so I never really had that "phase" start, can't say how long it took to stop either, but I'd guess ~1 week into vaping it improved. 4 months and I still have to clear my throat occasionally, but it's nothing compared to the start.

It's 20 days since I've stopped analog after 12 years of smoking and I haven't felt any clean up process yet.

The only withdrawal I'm having are cranker sores. I used to have alot of phlegm in the morning when I was a smoker, I'm now almost phlegm free.

I wonder where did all the garbage go.

Funny, I never had that... Of course, now I have a cold, so I'm still coughing... Let's just call it sympathy coughing...

I'm at six weeks or so, and still doing some coughing up crud. But it's slowed down a lot. I think the average period is two to six weeks.
