I had two original Caliburn devices that I loved. I lost one two weeks ago and the other was damaged when it went through the wash. I also have a Caliburn G that I purchased over a year ago that I love. And I just bought another G device as I like the ability to change coils. I have an Aegis POD and a Smok Nfix but they don't have the flavor I get with the Uwell device.

Love the Caliburn - been using for over two years. Very happy with them; bought 3 originals, then the G, both versions - where coils are built in & not. I like the replace the coils system much better than the built in ones. Two reasons - a full 2 mil on fill up VS 1.6 on the built in coil pods, and just like the taste better. The originals are very durable, dropped in water, dropped in garden for over night, they just keep going, dropped them on hard surfaces - tho I don't recommend that. They are my backups now.

Advice: Be sure to match your 'ohm's up. I wasn't paying attention on the G series & ordered 1ohm pod/coils and my both devices are .8ohm in it's specs & what came with device.
I'd recommend this brand for sure.

honestly still reconsidering this.... I LOVED the Caliburn G and its amazing flavors, but somehow after 2 devices getting the same problems I just think they dont get quality controlled..... I do love the flavor tho and draw tho, definitely such an upgrade from my juul.

Is the switch from the G to this one worth it?

What problem are you having? I have just experienced one that burns too high; a gurgling sound upon vaping whereas my other ones don't make that sound, I think it's b/c I dropped on the floor. The other two Gs I have are fine so far. I noticed that if I mismatched the ohms of the coils or pods - they burn out very fast.

Looks like they made the button flush with the surface? I've pocket vaped my original version far more than actually used it -- tank after tank of juice, and burnt a couple coils. Currently have a little rubber bumper next to the button which does wonders, but is starting to come loose.

I'm one of the original posters on this pod forum, and i can tell you the A2 is the best pod system I've used.

Only not being able to switch off the button stops it getting A+

As I carry my G's in my pocket, not being able to switch off the fire button on the A2 presents a problem.

Why did Uwell decide to switch back to a combined pod/coil on the A2 like the original Caliburn and not stay with replaceable coils like the Caliburn G?

There is two lines, one with and one without interchangeable coils. Think its fair to say a new G will be coming soon.
