Using one right now. I like it alot. Works as advertised. Only bad thing about it is, the upper setting will cause it to run out of steam quicker than a regular Ego batt. As its running out of steam, you are not getting that upper voltage. Makes me want a real VV in a bad way...think Im going to get a Lava Tube after playing with this batt.

I Bought one of these.

The voltages they quote are not regulated. As the battery runs down the voltages all drop. near the end you have something like 3.3, 2.7, 2.3 V.

Somewhere in the middle you might have 3.7, 3.2, 2.8.

The higher voltage is about what a Riva puts out, for about 1/2 the price.

The don't tell you this, of course. Bet you thought you'd get 4.2 V until the battery ran down, didn't you ?

I also tugged on the battery the wrong way and it came apart and broke both wires
inside. Couldn't figure out how to fix it, so it went into the trash.

Actually I have 4 of these, mine do put out 4.2V when fully charged I metered them myself, these are better Batts then the Loongtootem ones that are out that are all Chrome, also the 1100mAh ones are even better because they hold the voltages longer. Like billo says though the Voltages will run down as the power cell depletes.

maybe the prices have changed on the vv ego and vv riva models, but the best prices im seeing about $20-$25 for each, depending on battery capacity. do you have a link for cheaper rivas?

Did you meter the working voltage with the carto or are referring to battery voltage?
