I started with the V2 recently (really the third one I bought, but the first I really liked) and have since moved on to an Ego-T, which I originally thought was just leaps and bounds better than the V2. My mom barowed it for a cruise she recently went on, and during that time I've lost my ability to taste shortly (it came back, different story) and now my Ego doesn't seem all that great. In fact once I got my V2 back I noticed it put out way more flavor than my ego.

I was wondering if this is a voltage thing, or is my ego just in need of some much needed cleaning? I just finished a dry burn on the ego and am about to look up the video that showed me this cleaning technique to see how long it needs to set before use, and in the mean time I figure I might as well clean a few cartos out and fix them up with the juices I've been trying in the ego to get a real taste comparison.

So in short:
The V2 seems to out flavor the Ego-T, and I was wondering if...

1. This is because the V2 is 3.7 volt vs the ego's 3.3?

2. The Ego really needs cleaning badly? This is my first time trying a dry burn, I've blown the atty out plenty of times and don't know how good that's done me as all cleaning methods seem to get mixed reviews.

3. Cartos just give better flavor than Carts/attys/tanks...you know what I mean...or if the Ego's atty just sucks, in which case maybe I need to look into getting a better atty or a nice carto for my ego.

The eGo-t can tend to washout or even burn out certain flavors. The stronger flavors hold up better. It is odd, but the eGo-c actually doesn't burn or discolor ejuices where the eGo-t can and does. Not sure why. I think the spike is a bit smaller on the c. And the spike is in direct contact with the ejuice inside the tank. The regular eGo batts have less voltage underload than most mods - 3.2-3.4v vs. 3.7v, so it isn't a 'wattage' thing. I think it's direct conduction via the spike but I'm just making an educated guess on experience. Cleaning the t will help so watch those cignot videos and not letting the tank fully empty goes far toward avoiding the burnt tastes. One trick that works sometimes if the gunk isn't too bad on the coil is vaping pure PG or VG (and not 100% VG but a 80:20 VG:H2O blend) without flavoring or nic. That can clean up an atty.

In my experience - and I'll say I have a heightened sensitivity to carto filler - I can taste it - The eGo-c is the closest to dripping I've got.

Yup. Atomizers need cleaning. And I agree that eGo-C atties deliver very clean flavor. I also like the type B ego-T.

If you don't want to bother, I suggest you try Boge LR (2.0Ω) or Smoktech 1.7Ω single coil cartomizers on your eGos. I feel they taste just fine, perform very well, last a while (each carto can easily process ~8-10 ml of ejuice--YMMV), and require zero maintenance. Just keep them wet and discard when the draw tightens and the flavor and vapor production begin to diminish. They are disposable.

And if you want to experience 3.7v on your eGo-type battery, get a Riva; the new ones are true 3.7v devices. I get mine from Liberty Flights for 12 bucks. You can use your eGo charger to charge them.

Happy vaping! :)

If your truly looking for flavor I suggest you try a vision Carto from gotvapes, or ecigexpress or any vendor that carries them. These newer filler-less type cartos really pack a flavor punch, they are a far cry from the old CE2 original filler-less cartos now and these vision really out out flavor more so then any other carto I have used and that's pretty much all of em.
