Like everyone has said, they're the same exact thing, it just depends on whether you'd rather go longer between switching batteries or have a smaller device. Well, I guess the styling is slightly different as well, and the mini is a little smaller than the regular size when both are packing a 18490. I figured I'd prefer the portability of the mini, and the 18350 lasts me plenty long in between charges.

I'd get the V2, the mini looks sweet, but the battery life with 700mah would drive me crazy.

The battery life isn't that bad. I put a fresh battery in this morning, and just had to swap it out. That was over twelve hours of use. I was at work for about 6 hours, so my vaping then was limited, but I've been vaping pretty heavy for the last 5 or so.

I use an 18500 (1600mah) in my Standard V2, vape at 4.2 with DCT @ 1.5ohm - my battery lasts around 4hrs. The minis would drive me crazy ^^

I have both.

Mainly bring the ProVari to work that easily gets through a work day with either the 18500 and breezes 2 days with the 18650. The Mini also gets through with an 18350, just. I don't have the extension for the Mini.

Electronically they are identical.

So really is up to aesthetics and that is subjective.

I get plenty of battery life with the mini and Im a heavy vape'er.... If you get the extension cap, it brings it pretty damn close to the same size as the full size proV. So if you get the mini W/ ext.cap you really could have the best of both worlds considering you get pretty much the same battery life out of an 18490 as you do from an 18500 also with the option to go mini..... I'd go mini,...... As a matter of fact I did...;-)

my mini just came in the mail an hour ago and I'm in vaping heaven. its so crazy how even a .1 or .2 change in volts changes the flavor. I've been making myself nuts playing around with it all, in a good way. ill take some pics later just because I'm happy hehe. oh and the mini is so small, i didn't think it would be this tiny, but boy its cute.

Mini is also v2.

Mini normally takes IMR 18350 batteries, with extension cap you can use 18500.
"Regular" size provari normally use 18500, and with extension cap you can use 18650.

So its down to your needs. Would you rather have smaller PV, or get some longer battery life?

Thanks for the tip of the extension cap for the mini! Is it sold with the mini or you have to find it by yourself?

That short vaping time is the result of using LR dual-coil cartos.

If you can stand to use a SR single-coil, you'll get a lot longer vape times.

Oh I know :D I just prefer using the DC at the moment. I have 2.5ohm DC cartos to try as well. I could also vape at a lower voltage and get a bit more time - but I am sure I am not the only person who vapes using that set up and I was just letting the OP know what they could expect if they use a similar set up and buy a mini.

Now if I could just find some 18650s in stock >.<

Its not included in the price of the Mini. Its sold separately (go on provape site, and scroll down a bit after you get on the mini page; among those extras, you'll see an extension cap).
