Looking to find out what a V2 brand e-cig is exactly (model). Have a friend of a family member that purchased one and I know it's (imo) junk but it's too late to stop her. So~ if replacement parts such as cartos and whatnot can be replaced with a (again, imo) better company's product till her battery dies, maybe she'll have a better vape experience.

Their website is V2 Cigs Electronic Cigarettes :: America's Best Brand of E-Cigarette

What size? 808s?

The model is wonderful news! I personally would like her to try other flavors other then 'tobacco' based tastes. Was planning to send her to several other brands that sell fruits, sweets, etc until she decides she wishes to stick with it and drop the analogs :) Their website isnt very informative about choices :D

But hey! She's trying it! *kudos to her*

I am enjoying my v2 at the moment, but I've only had it for a week. So far it's working great. I love the taste and the thick vapor. I truly hope it proves to be a solid investment. Yes the accessories, liquids and carts do seem a bit pricey compared to others I've seen and tried, but I have learned how to reuse the carts and plan to experiment with different juices. I hope your friend kicks the smokes for good! There's nothing wrong with trying out something new... I've done it 3 times and v2 is my thing for now!! Vape on!!

My DH & I started with V2 e-cig couples pack & after 40+ yrs at 1 1/2 pad, we are smoke free. Have been for over 2 months.
I have to respectfully disagree that V2's are junk. Yeah, they may be a little pricy, but the kits are complete. V2 does warrant their batts for life (as long as you keep your account active, so purchase something within every 90 days). I will purchase blank cartos to keep my account up to date today...20% off sale. We had a batt that was DOA, I called V2 & they replaced immediately no ??? asked.

Like Spaceballsrules said, V2 cartos are very good. We've had ours since we started & some are just now starting to die. Note-We do take very good care of them. We don't let them burn dry, refill often, & clean when the draw diminishes.

When replacement parts are needed, you can go to Vapor4Life as they have some really good prices & sales often. They also have very good ejuice. Only had one juice from them that we didn't really like...vapable though.

OK, just my :2c: on V2.
Good luck & happy hunting :)

Yup! That's one of a short list I was going to send her to. I love the coupons and never had a bad flavor unless it was just a personal taste that made it bad :p

I've found most companies tend to be exactly what they describe as far as flavors go and I'm happy to share with her that there's more then just menthol and tobacco based :D I saw V2 has a couple others but the range that others have is pretty spectacular. Anything to help keep her vaping :)

It's not unusual that she would wants to vape tobacco flavors to start. Most people who just start vaping go with tobacco. And lots of veterans still do.
We started out with V2's Congress tobacco flavor (too "sweet" for me now, but it worked well). Now we vape about 10+ different flavors - fruits, bakery, drinks, coffee, etc, but that was after our taste & smell started to return.
Remind her that there is a learning curve & make sure the nic level is high enough to stay off the analogs. We smoked 1 1/2 pad lights & vape 18 mg.
Tell her good luck & that she'll love it.

I did a V2 review a while back and was kind of surprised with it. I was expecting a terrible product to be honest. It turns out that they worked pretty well, and I really like their USB pass-through. They sent me their whole flavor line as well, some I didn't care for, but others weren't bad. I like their congress tobacco flavor quite a bit.

Here's the review I did a while back if anyone's curious. V2 Cigs Ultimate Kit - The ultimate V2 Cigs review

True they can't seem to keep up..........the blanks are now back ordered and expected end of this week. The company seems to keep customers informed and they've been very responsive to questions asked and problems with things.........although I haven't had any problems with batteries or carts..........knock on wood!

No -- don't knock on wood. Learn about the other places that sell 808D-l's. There are a few very popular ones with excellent service. Finding the exact same flavors may be tough -- but it is easy to get same quality carto's and batteries. It's part of what we call "back-ups". It's not just the gear at home -- but places to buy the necessary replacements.

I couldn't even find out what type of gear I first had -- so you are already a few steps ahead of where I started!
