v3tronix flip clone massive voltage drop

hi,

I have an issue with my flip v3 going from 3.9 volts to 2.4 volts. I tried cleaning and polishing the contact. It has the spring loaded floating pin design.
has anyone had similar issues with this mod?

thanks

I'm new here and maybe I am missing some details. But I would really like to learn how to troubleshoot these voltage drops.

Thnaks

Your post is lacking a bit of useful detail, that would allow a member a more likely chance of sorting out your issue. Examples of "handy to know" info would be:

  • Is this a true 1:1 V3tronics Flip V3 copy, or a "loosely based" clone?
  • If a true 1:1 clone, is your build below 0.2Ω, where V3tronics recommends a telescopic, hard 510 contact rather than the spring loaded 510?
  • What atomizer (again, authentic or clone, and if clone, what "brand"), what build (wire gauge etc - if any) and at what net resistance?
  • Is there a Kick involved, and what brand/version?
  • What battery, and what charger? Be specific and if possible, provide hyperlinks to the equipment and vendor.
  • Why 3.9 volts and not a fully charged 4.20+/-?
  • What method and equipment are you using to determine VD? Again, be specific and if possible, provide hyperlinks to the equipment and vendor.
That's about all I'd need to have a better understanding of your issue. If you've sorted it out already... for those that may have a similar issue in the future... explain what flaw(s) you discovered, and how you corrected it.
