V4L FAM OPINIONS PLEASE -Regarding V4L Family Sale

I wanted give you all the inside scoop on a HOT sale coming up this week. It will be a V4L Family Sale at First, then a General Population Sale -- Here is the concept (and let me know if you love it or hate it)

It will be a very short lived sale as opposed to a long period of time (aka a FLASH sale 4-5 hours). Also the discounts will be deep with no min. order necessary. Here is the twist.

Hour 1 = Highest level discount
Hour 2 = 5% less
Hour 3, 4, 5 - same thing (reduction in discount)

If you had enough advance warning of when the sale would be (i.e. Wednesday from 10am-2pm CDT) would you be interested. Again, the earlier you are into the sale, the deeper the discount. And the "Flash" part just means we are going to limit it to a short time span.

Thoughts anyone?? Before we create the promo (and/or problems for our most loyal customers) We thought we should ask you first.

Can your system handle that Vapor Prince, especially any processing delays due to heavy traffic in the last 5 minutes of the first hour?

Too early for west coast IMO. Would be better to encompass some evening hours so more folks would have access to computer. If you wanted to be kind to financially strapped folks you should do it on or after the 15th (weekly as well as bi monthly payday for many) my 2 cents

I think that any time you can offer the sale would be wonderful -- especially since you said that you'd give us advance notice. Bottom line: V4L is amazingly good to its customers, and, in the end, whatever time you choose for the sale won't please every single person. AND, (I'll dare to speak for all of us) we're all very grateful that you offer us so many sales and that you offer them so frequently!

CDT? is that Central Daylight Time = GMT-5 hrs?
If I am working it out correctly, if the sale started at 10am CDT on a Wednesday that would be 1.00AM on the Thursday in Australia. I think. Too confusing !

Because of work hours, real life stuff, internet access, etc. I think a lot of people might give this one a miss. But I do like the concept and think it might be fun. Watch your servers so your site doesn't crash with the mad rush of doorbuster sales

Wow, a super sale and a trial to see if your server can handle the traffic. If/when your server goes down the first hour will there be a do over?
Let's hope your host isn't the same one as ECF.

Thanks for thinking of us - we love sales! That sounds like a great idea. The office work will have to stop for just a little while (we don't get anything done during a numbers game).
