I just purchased and received my UU kit from v4l. It came with Cowboy, Kant, Virginia, Menthol, and French Pipe. Is it just me or these all way too sweet? I'd like some suggestions on what flavors are the most like a Marl Light short analog? I've smoked these for over 20 years and I'd like to keep that flavor or something close. I hate menthol but the menthol so far is the best flavor in the bunch I received. So...

A. What is closest to an analog Marl Light?

B. Is the pear really that good? (lots of youtube videos)

C. What is better, PG or VG for flavor and TH?

Thanks in advance.

The tobacco tastes never quite do it for me, I'm happier just going with the fruits and other flavors, but that is just my taste. The pear is great but my favorite fruits are peach and banana. There are new samplers out so you can try them all!

I cant do the tobacco flavors I tried the cowboy but that really didnt do anything for me

I smoked ML for a long time and the cowboy is no where near it. All tobaccos are good once you get use to the difference in flavor. French pipe is suprisingly good. I would agree the fruit flavors and others are great. You find that you do not want tobacco flavors as much once you quit. You have to try alot of different stuff to find what you like. My tastes change everyday and I like different flavors at different times of the day. Its a total experiment. Good luck!

Thanks for all the input, I'm gonna try the parliament and the ry4 then if to just avoid the sweetness. It's absolutely amazing the way things taste different now. I have been drinking 2% milk for 15 years and after a week of not smoking, it tastes like crap. I told my wife about ecigs I found while perusing the net during the thanksgiving break. I found GS. She bought me this and it came in Jan 1st. The marl flavor was great but there was zero TH unless you triple or quadruple dragged. I then found v4l reviews on youtube and decided to order it and got it yesterday, the TH is amazing compared to GS. The 3 sec cutoff is so ......ed. I'm shipping it back this week.

If I decide to buy prefilled, do I need to make sure they are compatible with the VK? Some sites don't say which ecigs they fit except for 401's and 510's etc...what is the VKing XL considered in terms of numbers?

Ahhh yes, the Marlboro Light. I smoked those for 20 years and as a new vaper i thought i would want a tobacco flavor and specifically the marlboro light flavor to vape as well.

And then a new world opened up to me thru vaping.

We liked marlboro light because of all the horrible tobacco flavors out there that flavor for us was the best of the bunch.

So here is the question. If you could eat a strawberry, or your favorite food, or drink your favorite drink, or gorge yourself on whatever you love and get the same exact feeling you get from smoking a cigarette, Would you do it?

That is the world that is now available to you thru vaping. Your going to love experimenting and trying all the new flavors. You have to think out of the box on this one because vaping may simulate smoking but it is an entirely different way of getting our nicotine fix.

Have fun and enjoy.

I personally find the RY4 very sweet...kind of burnt sugar and carmel. That is just me but if sweet is an issue you may not like it. Taste is very subjective so maybe someone else will not find it sweet. Just thought I would throw that in since sweet is what you are trying to avoid.

I have yet to find a flavor that comes close to tobacco (I smoked Camel Lights* for most of my 20 years as a smoker), and I really think it has a lot to do with the fact that there's no combustion. The taste of an analog is intrinsically tied to the burning of the tobacco, and I think that element is virtually impossible to replicate when there's no smoke involved.

Oh, and I hated the V4L *Camel juice (I haven't tried the carto from my Tobacco Shop Sampler yet, because I assume it tastes the same), but I really liked the French Pipe juice (haven't tried that carto yet either), and I've really been enjoying the 3 cartos I have tried from the Sampler: Virgina, Parliament, and even Cowboy (although I find that has more of a chocolate/espresso taste than a tobacco flavor). Still, nothing remotely close to Camel Lights, Marlboro Lights, Marlboro Mediums, Parliament Blues, or anything else I can remember lighting up. Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying them with my coffee and beer! :) And I don't feel stinky and gross afterward. :D

Now, I admittedly haven't sampled much else... the only other tobacco flavor I've vaped is the pre-filled carts I have for my Volcano, and I know there's a big world of tobacco liquid out there (plus, I'm vaping zero nicotine, which I'm pretty sure affects the flavor as well), but I wouldn't be surprised if most of the tobacco flavors out there have a slightly sweet taste to them. But I also wouldn't be surprised if you ultimately find one to settle on... and it ultimately grows on you. :)

I have tried the GS Tobacco and Marlboro flavors and they are both really good. Except for the no throat hit and like 3 second cut off on their batteries...

I sampled the V4L tobacco sampler last night and I'm sorry to say, none of them come close at all to the GS flavors. I didn't really like any of them except for French Pipe. They all taste really nutty or something to me.
