V4L Passthrough Question...

Can any of you guys tell me about the Manual PT offered by V4L?

What voltage do they run on? Do they enhance the carto experience? (Currently using cartos with an adapter on my ego)

I havent used a PT since the first one I got back when I started vaping and that was a crappy stock 801 PT from china.

I love these cartos, and have heard nothing but great things about V4L.

My first order with V4L was the usb mini pass thru kit. It is very well made and I'm loving it. Vapor is great, taste is great. It took me from a 2 pack analog coffin kicker to 3 analogs a day. Once I get my battery etc.. I will completely stop analogs. In my box of stuff I never thought I would use again I found a AC to DC usb travel charger 5v and 200mA - 300mA, needless to say it goes with me everywhere and allows me to smoke my PT without a computer usb port. Hope this helps

The PT makes normal cartos magically delicious but it isn't ideal for the premium ones IMO

I recently got one of the new V4L passthru's and like it a lot. In the days where battery life was a serious issue, it was a huge convenience. I don't use it as much as I thought I would, even though it is 5V vs 3.7V; it's just that the current V4L batteries are so good and the new carts work so well at 3.7V, I end up using the batts far more frequently. It depends on how much you vape and how convenient it is to charge your batteries. In my case, I charge two XL's at night, and charge one reg batt in the pcc overnight plugged into the pc. In the morning, I put a different reg batt in the pcc and hit the road with 4 PV's. As a pilot, I could see how you would want a passthru; is there a nice convenient USB port available in the cockpit?

It works great with a 12V - USB adapter, the pass thru itself does not contain a battery.

Just got mine yesterday. I have so many batteries I needed to quench my spending thirst! So i didnt have one, so i bought one. Its a manual gold one and its really good. For some reason my usb wall outlet is messed up and it doesnt work with it. But i really like the way it makes some of the tabacco flavors taste. And some other tabaccos taste worse at 5v IMO. But not a bad little guy to have for incase situation. Like o no! MY batteries need charging and i want to vape! I got a pass thru!

I also just got a new manual PT yesterday. It is awesome! I tried to use it with a USB wall adapter and it wouldn't work, but plugged into my laptop it works fine.

I had bought a PT from another company and could not get it to work properly. This one from V4L totally ROCKS!

I forgot to mention how totally ironic it is to use the 12V car socket that used to contain an analog cigarette lighter, to plug in the 12V-USB adapter to use for a passthru for Personal Vaping; sweet vengeance is mine!

My new vehicle has a USB port built-in. I haven't tried it with a PT, so I'm not sure what the power output is, but it's there for charging phones (and reading mp3's for the audio system)

I doubt it is your wall to usb adaptor that is messed up. The passthrough from V4L just won't work with it. I don't know if it will work in the car. I'll find out in the morning. I hope so, since that is one time I really would like a nice sweet 5V vape on the way to work, since I usually drive 45min or so. I'm really disappointed in the way it won't work with the wall adaptor, and may just try another companies version and see if it does. I was so looking forward to vaping my cartos on it tonight. And the manual I got from them doesn't work either. So 50% of my order sucked. Go figure...even the juice doesn't taste quite right. That could be the Atomic Cinnacide I vaped most of the day though!!!

rags, my boyfriend uses his passthru exclusively on a wall to usb adaptor & has never had an issue with it.
USB Dual Power Adapter
unfortunatley, they are all sold out now - but perhaps your unit doesn't have enough juice to power the PT? i bought a couple of them before finding the one above and they wouldn't power the PT. you just have to make sure the unit is strong enough.
as far as the car adaptor, i have not had any issues with the one i got from V4L (except it makes the radio buzz when i use it so i only use it when i listen to cd's). hope that helps.

Hoping to get my pt this friday and test it out on a regular carto with nhaler hv marlbro!
I really hope it works cause i tried vaping it with the battery and it has no flavor at all.
