I researched both, I think my first post on this board was asking this question.

I know nothing about performance. I went with the V4L. For me, it came down to price.

They're both KR808's. With the discount that V4L offered, I was able to get the Ultimate XL kit with manual batteries plus an extra box of 5 cartomizers for 49.55. The Bloog is $99.99. Double. I just couldn't see paying $100 for a KR808 for something I had no idea if the person I was buying it for would even like it (my mom).

The V4L has a 45 day warranty, Bloog I think 30 days. Both are probably great products with good reputations on this board. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Good luck!

I have found bloog MF cartos to give a very warm and wet type of vapor, more like steam to me but some people may like it. However, I find it unvapable with fruit flavors. You just don't want them hot! The bloog mf batteries are working wonderfully though. I've only "tried" a v4l and have not owned one (actually have them ordered now) so I don't know about their long term performance but I did like the vape I tried on it. I don't know if it was a wow carto or a coolcart that I tried though :0

I would suggest lurking arond their sub-forums it can give you an idea of what's going on. Like if there are a lot of post concerning a certain problem with a carto or such. Reading what the people are writing who are using them will help a lot!

I have both and if you blindfolded me and had me vape a BloogMF and a V4L Diamond Series I don't think I would be able to tell the difference.

Either of these are great for anyone looking for the closest thing to actually smoking a cigarette.

The Bloog MF cartos are not consistent and many people have reported issues with them. I have some that work great and a LOT of them that just taste burnt.

The V4L cartos work great on the Diamond Series and are very dependable in my experience so I would go with V4L for a more satisfiying experience, plus V4L is a lot less expensive.

If Bloog ever gets their cartos perfected they will be awesome, but it's risky at best to find one that performs to my liking.

Just my 2 cents!

Current V4L sale Mar 11-13

23% off orders of $50 or more - VST23
26% off orders of $80 or more - VST26

And at their site, lower left of front page, sign up for their mailing list

That's not the best sale they have ever had. Sometimes they have 35% off large orders. And guess they had 50% off kits once.

I just started vaping this week and finally received my shipment from V4L. I like the batteries. I also bought the cartos in the following flavors, samples of desserts, samples of fruit, Wow smilin menthol, and apple. All of them tasted like chemical and I cannot stand them. The only exception was mango which does have a mango flavor with a chemical taste. Am I doing something wrong?

Is this your first vaping experience or are you used to cartomizers. They are not going to taste like only flavoring, they have PG,VG and nic in them.Ive tried most of those flavors and dont get a strong chemical taste.Im sorry that they arent what you were looking for.If need be you can refill them with other liquids.Alot of people buy blanks and fill them, for me the flavors are good and I prefer the simplicity of prefilled.

You just might not like their juice. Like keyzygirl said, get their blank carts and try different juice vendors. Go to the juice review section and read reviews. Try some samples sizes. Some places let you vary the PG/VG ratio and nicotine level.

Backwoods brew has pretty smooth juices, but they do need to steep. Several of their tobacco juices are popular as well as his fruits. Watermelon is good.

Thanks for the advice Keyzgirl and Swedishfish. I don't want to give up, I just have to find a flavor I like. I also like the simplicity of the cartomizers which is why I chose V4L. And maybe they taste so bad to me because I am just now trying to switch to vaping. I read on another post that I need to take a few primer puffs that I don't inhale to let something on a fresh cartomizer burn off, so maybe that is what I tasted, as I didn't keep trying it after I didn't like the first 2 puffs. It must be something about me because I researched before I bought and alot like V4L flavors.

It's just personal preference. My mother likes the taste of the V4L juice when she fills her own carts as opposed to getting the prefilled. Or I should say when I fill them for her. I can't imagine what difference it would make but she notices a difference.

It's super easy to fill the cartomizers, really! You just pop off the plastic end piece with a clip or even your fingernail and drip some juice in. It is seriously not hard at all.

FreedomSmokes USA has lots of sample sizes. Order a box of blank cartomizers and try some samples. It's fun!

Evie - how much nic? If you have very high nic you may taste the nic. And most of the flavor is aroma. Don't judge by just the flavor. Make sure your nose gets some vapor.

In general, I prefer the WOW juices - I enjoyed WOW Vanilla and I liked WOWBacco and WOWBoy so much I bought a bottle. It's a bit strong to vape in the WOW carts so actually vape that on my 510 most of the time in a 510 carto. When I really want a kick in the throat I vape it on the Vapor4Life in a WOW cart. It's a very veyr cocoa tobacco and the WOWBoy version adds a bit of mint.

What exactly is different about the diamond batteries over regular KR8 batteries other than the light up tip? Performance difference?

I have a V4L, and I ordered blank carto's, but they sent me prefilled sample - YUCK! I ordered a bottle of their WOW VG vanilla and it is excellent. I have read other posts that say their cartos are icky, but their juice is better. Even reading reviews of the juice on their website, people have said the prefilled cartos taste totally differently than the juice. Otherwise, just buy your own juice from someone else and (re)fill the cartos.
